パープルのパーティ Purple Party

2月16日（土）銀座近くのおしゃれなフォトスタジオで、サロンdeパーティ～アメジストパープル～を開催したよ。
今回のテーマカラーは２月の誕生石アメジストの色、パープル
皆さんとっても素敵にパープルをドレスに取り入れてくださいました。
今回のベストカラー賞はAkiraさん、初の男性受賞でした！
おめでとうございます＆受賞者としてスタッフと皆さんの前で踊っていただきありがとうございました！
久しぶりにダンスを使ったゲームも取り入れとっても盛り上がりました。
そしてそして、昨年御結婚式でブライダルダンスをご披露されたご夫婦によるブライダルダンスのデモ
ラブラブのお二人の甘いダンスにみんなウットリでした（お二人のお式のご様子も近日中にご紹介いたします）♪
冬らしい冷たい風の中、お越し下さった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。

JSDC had Salon de Party -Amethyst Purple- on Saturday, February 16th at a photo studio near Ginza.
The theme color was purple for this party, which is a color of the February birthstone, Amethyst, and everyone was dancing in beautiful purple!
The best color prize went to Akira, who was the first male winner of this contest! Congratulations!
Thanks to Akira for the graceful 'winner dance' in front of everyone also.
After a fun dance game, we enjoyed wedding dance demonstration by a lovely couple who took dance lessons with us and just got married last year (I'm going to report on it very soon).
It was a chilly day, but THANK YOU so much to everyone who came to the party!

ダンス時計 Dancing Clock

ハッピーいいお天気～久しぶりにスタジオの様子ご報告！
ペアダンスグッズを街で見つけるとときめくポーちゃんですが、最近の収穫はこの「タンゴ」という名前の時計です。
渋谷駅近くで発見して、すぐに買っちゃいました。
それぞれのカップルが違うポーズをしていて、ひとりひとりの名前が書いてあるよ。
いいポーズを見つけたらアルゼンチンタンゴのキメポーズに使ってみてね。
スタジオに見に来てね！

wiiで社交ダンス Dancing with the Stars with WII

「最近流行りのゲームはちょっと・・・」という皆さんの中でも、映像を見て体を動かしながら社交ダンスゲームが出来るならちょっと挑戦しようかなって思える方がいるかも？？
アメリカの人気社交ダンス番組を題材にした、ニンテンドーＷＩＩの「Dancing with the Stars」（テレビのタイトルそのまま）は、2007年秋にアメリカで販売開始♪
日本に上陸するかな？？？

Even if you usually don't feel like playing the brand new type of video games, Wii 'Dancing with the Stars' from NINTENDO may attract all ballroom and latin dancers!
The game came out in the fall of 2007, and hasn't come to Japan yet.

Pillows ミュージックビデオ Pillows Music Video

最近、CMなどの振り付け、出演依頼を頂くことも増えたジャパンソーシャルダンスシアター（JSDT)ですが、その中の「かわいい」版からひとつをご紹介。
1月30日リリースのPillowsによる「東京バンビ」のミュージックビデオにJSDTの天野由高と徳江みさほがこんな装いで出演しています。
キュートなペアダンスは渋谷駅前の交差点でも大きな動画で流れてるよ。

Japan Social Dance Theater (JSDT) recently receives more and more job offerings for TV commercials and music video, and I'm going to introduce one of the cute ones today.
In the music video 'Tokyo Bambi' by the popular group Pillows, you'll find Misaho Tokue and Yutaka Amano from JSDT looking like this
Their cute dancing could be seen on a big screen at Scramble Intersection in Shibuya.

Although a lot of shops carry various kinds of dance clothes, few have nice shoebags.
At Shibuya Private Studio, JSDC just started to sell handmade shoebags of various patterns and designs.
From this year, I hope more dancers in Japan start carrying a nice shoebag to their studio, parties, and clubs, depending on a different season, outfit, and occasion.
Celebrating Valentine's day 2008, one bag is 2,500yen (regularly 3,000yen)during February.

ハワイでウエディング Wedding Dance in Hawaii

We received these wedding dance pictures from Ryosuke and Miki
Their wedding was in Hawaii where beautiful sunshine looks over everyone's happiness all the time.
All the guests had a wonderful time watching the bride and groom dancing with their best smile
The pictures of thier lovely first dance also made JSDC staff so happy and say 'what a cute couple!'.
