１１月の練習会 November Practice Party

今月も１１月２５日（日）のプラクティスパーティではたくさんの方が練習に来て下さいました！
ありがとうございました～　
毎月の練習会は、生徒の皆さんとレッスン外で一緒に踊るチャンスが多く、そして目の前で皆さんのダンスの上達を拝見出来る、講師陣にとってもとっても楽しみなパーティ。
来月は今年最後の練習会♪
またたくさん踊ってたくさん上達してたくさん楽しみましょうね。

Thank you so much to everyone who joined November's practice party on Sunday, November 25th in Yoyogi.
This monthly practice party gives all the instructors with great opportunities to dance with their students outside of the lessons and see everyone's improvements right in front of their eyes.
Don't miss December practice party, and we'll see you all at the last party of 2007.

デイホームでワルツ Waltz at Day Care Center

JSDTメンバー＆講師の天野由高と清水みきが、今月も都内のデイ・ホームをボランティア訪問したよ♪
今回は二人によるウィンナーワルツのパフォーマンスを見ていただいた後に、みんなでワルツのレッスン！
ワルツで、「紳士＆淑女」としての優雅な気分を味わいながら、皆さんで新しいステップを練習したんだ
来月は今年最後の訪問。また一緒に踊って温かな冬の一日を過ごしましょうね～

Yutaka Amano and Miki Shimizu, JSDT members and instructors, visited a senior day care center in Tokyo this month again!
After their Viennese waltz performance, it was waltz hour, time for all the 'ladies and gentlemen' at the center to learn graceful, new steps.
The next visit is going to be the last one for this year, but we'll bring everyone a warm, friendly winter afternoon with a fun lesson in 2008 also!

お気楽ダンスフェスティバル Okiraku Dance Festival

　2007年１１月１１日（日）さいたま新都心のけやき広場にて、「お気楽ダンスフェスティバル」が開催されたよ。
ＪＳＤＣのパーティ司会でもおなじみのＦＭ浦和ラジオのパーソナリティ、御自身もダンスの資格をお持ちの佐藤恵さんが、主宰＆司会のこの企画、４００人ものダンス愛好家の皆さんが参加されました♪
ＪＳＤＣからもAkira&Yurikoペアがハッスルで、ジャパンソーシャルダンスシアター（ＪＳＤＴ）からは天野由高、清水みき、小倉幸通、鹿間幸代がサルサで、デモンストレーション部門に参加
リフトやたくさんのポーズをとりいれたパフォーマンス、皆さんに喜んでいただけました♪
「お気楽ダンス」文化、もっと広まるといいな～。
気持ちがハッピーになるのって、「お気楽」に何かを楽しんでいる瞬間だったりします。

Megumi Sato is an FM radio DJ who supports JSDC parties as MC and is a pair dancing certificate holder herself. Recently, Megumi organized 'Okiraku (Casual) Dance Festival' in Keyaki Hiroba, Saitama on November 11th 2007.
Approximately 400 people joined this event, including, from JSDC, Akira & Yuriko, and Japan Social Dance Theater (JSDT: Yutaka Amano, Miki Shimizu, Yukimichi Ogura, and Sachiyo Shikama) who performed the Hustle and Salsa respectively during the demonstration time.
The audience liked both of the performances, which had a lot of dynamic lifts and quick turns
I really hope more Japanese people will get to know this 'casual' style of dancing in the future.
Your happy moments are often the time when you are 'casually' enjoying something.

見守られて With Best Friends Around

「二人が見つめあってエレガントに踊る姿を見て、見ている全員の感動が伝わりました」byゲストの友人

2007年9月YujiさんとRinakoさんのご披露パーティが都内のレストランで行われたよ。
お二人を温かく包むような秋の午後でした
とってもアットホームなパーティでは、お二人がゲストのテーブルでお食事を取ったり、気軽にお話ができる大人のカジュアルスタイル。
ビュッフェスタイルのデザートタイムの後は、明るい光が差し込むガーデンでブライダルダンスを披露しました
見つめ合って踊るお二人を見て、ゲストの皆さんもジーンと感動♪そして大拍手
ひとりひとりが忘れられないパーティになりました・・・・・・・　心よりおめでとうございます！！！

Yuji and Rinako got married at a restaurant in Tokyo in September 2007!
It was a nice, sunny afternoon in early autumn
Their reception had such a friendly style and the bride and groom walked around to each guest table and enjoyed the full course meal with everyone...not typical in Japan!
After a dessert buffet, Yuji and Rinako started dancing their first dance with all their best friends around looking over them
It turned out to be the most memorable moment for every single person there.

ハロウィンレポート1 Halloween Report 1

11月3日（土）ＪＳＤＣ主催ハロウィンde文化の日パーティが三軒茶屋にて開催されたよ　
ミニダンスレッスン、パフォーマンス、フリーダンスタイム、コスチュームコンテスト盛りだくさんの一日でした♪
お越し頂いた皆様、心よりありがとうございました！！
皆さんの仮装・・・・・ずばり「最高でした」　
ハロウィンレポートもちろんまだまだ続きま～す。

JSDC had the Halloween de Bunkanohi (Cultural Day) Party on Saturday, November 3rd in Sangenjaya.
We had a lot of fun with mini dance lessons, performances, free dance time, and a costume contest.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined.
