囲碁のプロよりダンスのススメ Dancing recommended by Igo Master

記事は週間「ゴルフダイジェスト」に連載中の武宮正樹さん（９段）によるものです♪ 囲碁界ではその名を知らない人はいない、まさに名人の武宮さんの趣味はゴルフ、映画鑑賞をはじめ、本当に多彩 その中でも今楽しく取り組んでいらっしゃるのが、社交ダンスです 今回の記事でも、ダンスが他の活動に与える良い影響、人間にとって踊るとは何かなど、軽快な語り口で「なっとく～！」な内容 ＪＳＤＣのレッスンでも頑張ってくださっています！その成果は４月８日（日）のアニュアルパーティでご披露します。皆さんも応援に＆遊びにいらしてくださいね♪

 In this week's issue of Golf Digest, there is an article by Igo(Japanese chess) master Masaki Takemiya. A very talented and well-known Igo master, Mr.Takemiya has a variety of interests including golf and movies. Recently he is into ballroom dancing In this article, he explains how dancing can have a positive influence on other activities, and he also answers the question,  'Why do human beings dance?'. Mr. Takemiya is currently taking JSDC dance lessons and preparing for performance at JSDC Annual Party on April 8th. 総立ちでした Standing ovation

HisafumiさんとYukoさんが銀座のホテルでお式を挙げたのは昨年１１月　美味しい食事、生演奏、そして美しい景色で、ゲストの皆さんに穏やかで心地良い時間を過ごして頂くことが望みです・・というお二人にとってファーストダンスは、ゲストの皆さんへの感謝のしるし。ご披露パーティのメインイベントでした。御忙しい中、レッスンそして自主練習に励んでくださり、ドラマチックで感動的なダンスを披露して下さいました。曲が終わる頃には、ゲストの皆さんも立ち上がりカメラを持ってお二人を囲んでいました　会場のホテルのスタッフの方も「創業以来、ファーストダンスを踊られた方は初めてでした。素敵でした～。」と感激を隠せなかった様子。　温かいパーティのご様子が目に浮かぶようです。心よりおめでとうございます

Hisafumi and Yuko got married at a hotel in Ginza last November Their dream wedding was a simple but warm and comfortable space for every single guest with high quality, great tasting food, speculacular view, live music, and nothing extra. A first dance was a way to express their gratitude to the guests, which was, the bride and groom thought, the most important thing at the wedding. Thanks to their practice during the tight schedule before the wedding, they performed a most dramatic first dance By the time the song finished, all the guests were standing around the couple holding their cameras. The hotel staff was also impressed and confessed that since the hotel was first built, nobody had ever danced at a wedding. Yes! They were the first couple who have ever danced at this hotel　Conguratulations on your wedding, Hisafumi & Yuko

３月の練習会 March Practice Party

３月２５日（日）原宿で３月の練習会が行われました　
今回は入門クラスの方も数名ご参加ありがとうございます。
習いはじめこそ、たくさん練習会に来て欲しいな。
実践練習になるだけでなく、上級者のステップなど見るだけで楽しいはず
練習会は毎月開催です！！上達のためにも積極的にご参加くださいね。

JSDC had March Practice party on Sunday, March 25th.
We warmly welcomed a few intro course students this month
Beginners are strongly encouraged to join events other than lessons, since there are opportunities to dance with students from other classes.
It's also fun to even just watch experienced dancers dance smoothly (watching them dance, you'll find how you'll improve in the future).
We have a practice party every month. Please come and join as many events as possible to improve your skills

競演直前 Ready for the competition

アメリカで大人気の著名人とプロによる社交ダンス競技番組「Dancing with the Stars」。　間もなくスタートする第4シーズンを目前に出演者達がインタビューで意気込みを語っているよ（動画見てね）。今回、義足で出場するヘザーミルズは、「真面目に取り組むのは自分の人生だけで十分。競技には気楽に取り組むつもり。どれくらい障害を持った人が番組を見てくれているかは気になるわ」とコメント　元ミス・アメリカのシャンディ・フォーツナは、パートナーと衣装合わせで既に衝突？！　ひとシーズン10週間に渡る番組のための練習期間が他の仕事のスケジュールと合わず出場を断念した俳優ジョン・ラッツェンバーガーの代わりに出場することになった俳優ビンセント・パストーは「僕だってスケジュールが合わないよ、と言ったけど婚約者が調整してくれたんだよね」と苦笑い。ひとシリーズが長い分、出演者達も気合十分＆周りの注目度もすごく高いね～

温泉旅行レポート Onsen Trip Report

3月3日（土）4日（日）ＪＳＤＣの温泉旅行でしたよ
毎年恒例のこの春の旅行では、ダンスはもちろん、温泉で温まり、食事、宴会、そして観光も欠かせません。
今回の行き先は群馬県の猿ヶ京温泉。
観光は世界遺産登録が推奨されている富岡製糸工場と群馬サファリパークでした。
心も体もリフレッシュ！！！の2日間でした。　

ＪＳＤＣ had Annual Onsen (Hotspring) trip on Mar.3rd-4th to Sarugakyo, Gunma prefecture
Every year, this popular trip comes with a lot of dancing, hotsprings, tasty local food, mid-night party, and sightseeing.
Everyone enjoyed the popular sightseeing sopts, Tomioka Silk Factory and Gunma Safari park
Two refreshing days for body and soul!

高校生と地域住民で Community Dance Lessons at HS

ここはアメリカオハイオ州のYellow Springs。地元の高校生と地域の住民が一緒にダンスレッスンを楽しむ姿が紹介されたよ。写真と記事はYellow Springs News のローレン・ヒートンさん　見出しは「さよなら、ヒップホップ。こんにちは、フォックストロット」。このクラス、もともとは、卒業ダンスパーティ実行委員が地域と一緒に企画して行っているもの。最近は、アメリカの高校で行われるダンスってヒップホップが主流だけど、動きが難しくてあんまり踊れない人も少なくない。ペアダンスなら無理なくみんなが参加できるみたい。高校卒業パーティと言っても男女ペアで、ドレスアップして参加のアメリカのダンスパーティ　素敵なパーティの準備にもなるし、地域のみんなも大喜びの企画だって　こちらはもともとの記事です。
