年の暮れから元旦にかけて極寒の中、参拝に行ってきました。
On the last evening of the year 2004、after I finished writing one of my EG articles、I realized that my car was wholly covered with snow thanks to the sudden heavy snowfall on the day. It could not be helped. I began to wash the snow away from my car although I imagined that I might be killed by the terrible coldness during the job.
After finishing the hell of a job、I peacefully (???) went for a drive to Yokohama.
The roads were partially icy、so I had to pay more attention to my driving than usual. The city was beautifully illuminated with the special lighting for the upcoming new year.
After eating dinner I went to a shrine at Kamakura in order to worship. I was a little bit tired、but decided to wait for the first sun of the new year to rise. At 7：15、I finally saw the first sunrise of this year、2005 at the seashore of Kamakura.
On my way home I was sure that I would be killed in the car accident because I was much more tired this time than the night before last. In addition、I was caught in the heavy traffic jam、which I did not expect would occur in such a place、but somehow I came back home safe and sound. I came back alive!
