15章 アブサロムの謀反
1．ダビデと運命を共にする人々
「私のたましいよ 黙って ただ神を待ち望め。私の望みは神から来るからだ。神こそ わが岩 わが救い わがやぐら 私はゆるがされることがない 私の救いと栄光は ただ神にある。私の力の岩と避け所は 神のうちにある」（詩篇62:5-7）
ダビデは、アブサロムに追われた際に、この詩を作ったとされています。アブサロムの甘い言葉に民はなびいて、ダビデはあてのない逃亡生活を強いられようとしていました。そこでダビデに付き従ったのは、「すべてのクレタ人と、すべてのペレテ人、そしてガテから王について来た六百人のガテ人」とすべて外国人で、イスラエル人が忌み嫌う、ペリシテの集団でした。彼らは、「王様がおられるところに、生きるためでも死ぬためでも、このしもべも必ずそこにいます。」（21節）とダビデと運命を共にしようとしました。皮肉なものです。ダビデを助けようとしたのは、イスラエルの同胞ではなく、異邦人だったのです。しかも彼らは奴隷としてダビデに従ったわけではありません。彼らは全く自由な自らの意思で、また信仰の一致によって、明らかに形勢の不利な、ダビデの側についたのです。
しばしば危機的な状況は、信頼すべき誠実な友が誰であるかを明らかにします。それは、日和見的な仲間と、本当に苦難を分かち合う仲間を明らかにします。「主を賛美します。私はあなたにお従いします」と綺麗な声で賛美し、祈ることは簡単です。しかし、苦難に置かれても、なおも共に主を仰ぎ、共に歌いつつこれを乗り越えようとする人であるかどうか。そのような教会であればこそ、苦難を乗り越える教会となるでしょう。実際に、ダビデと苦難を分かち合った外国人たちは、ダビデと信仰を一つにする者たちでした。
神に生きるということは、今置かれた現実の場でなされることです。今置かれた現実を避けた信仰の歩みはありません。信仰は頭の中の世界ではないのです。私たちが今置かれている場にあって苦難を共にし、苦難を共に乗り越えることに信仰を働かせないのなら、どこでその信仰を働かせるのでしょうか。
2．退避するダビデ
ダビデは神の箱を町に戻しました。それは、彼が神の箱を手元に置いておけば安心だと思ったからではありません。神の意思がすべてだと考えたからです。神がそれを良しと意志されればダビデはエルサレムに戻ることができるでしょう。そうでなければこのまま放浪の中で尽き果ててしまうはずです。苦難にあって人に救いをもたらすのは、目に見えないまことの神です。宮や神の箱に鎮座させられた偶像の神ではありません。
ただ、人々の目に、アブサロムの策略は、功を奏した感がありました。アブサロムの王家にある地位と名声、そしてアブサロム自身の演出的能力や大衆受けの性質、さらに粘り強い4年の歳月をかけたロビー活動、それらが皆相乗効果を発揮し、アブサロムの地位を確かにするように見えました。ある意味で、神が味方し、神がこれを後押ししたからこうなったのだとすら思えるものでした。
けれども神のみこころはそこにはなかったのです。神は、ダビデが捨て去られていくままにはされませんでした。神は、泣きながらオリーブ山を登り、神の助けを求めるダビデに、彼のあずかり知らぬところで具体的な助けを与えられました。つまりアルキ人フシャイの心を動かし、ダビデの友とされたのです。彼は後にアブサロムを支えるアヒトフェルの助言を討ち壊す者となったのです。私たちは、神は、正しいことをなさるお方である、と考えるべきでしょう。神は決して人の悲しみを見過ごされません。たとえいかに人間のはかりごとが巧みであっても、また組織の力がいかに個人を踏みにじることがあっても、神の正義があることへの期待を失ってはなりません。神こそ我が岩、我がやぐらです。そして単に個人を慰める以上の神のご計画があることを忘れてはなりません。神の大いなるご計画の実現の中に、個人の祝福と助けもあるのです。善をなしてくださる主を信頼して歩ませていただきましょう。では今日もよき一日となるように祈ります。

Chapter 15 Absalom's Rebellion
1. People who share their destiny with David
"Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress; I will not be shaken. My salvation and m honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.”(Psalm 62: 5-7)
David is said to have written this poem when he was chased by Absalom. The sweet words of Absalom fluttered the people, and David was about to be forced into an unreliable escape. So David was followed by a group of Philistines, all foreigners, hated by the Israelites, "all Cretans, all Peretes, and the 600 Gaths who followed the king from Gath." They tried to share their destiny with David, saying, "Where the King is, whether to live or die, this servant is always there" (verse 21). It's ironic. It was the Gentiles, not the Israeli compatriots, who tried to help David. Moreover, they did not obey David as slaves. They were on the side of David, who was clearly at a disadvantage, by his own will and by unity of faith.
Crisis situations often reveal who a credible and sincere friend is. It reveals opportunistic companions and companions who really share their hardships. It is easy to praise and pray with a beautiful voice, "I praise the Lord. I will obey you." However, whether or not he is a person who still looks to the Lord together and tries to overcome this while singing together even if he is placed in hardship. Only such a church will be a church that overcomes hardships. In fact, the foreigners who shared their hardships with David were those who united David and his faith.
Living in God is what is done in the real world that is now in place. There is no step of faith that avoids the reality that has just been set. Faith is not the world in your head. If we are in the place we are in now and we do not work our faith in sharing our hardships and overcoming them together, where do we work our faith?
2. David to evacuate
David returned the ark of God to the town. It wasn't because he thought it would be safe to keep the ark of God in his hands. Because he thought that God's will was everything. David will be able to return to Jerusalem if God is willing to do it. Otherwise he would be exhausted in the wandering as it is. It is the invisible true God who brings salvation to others in hardship. He is not the idol god enshrined in the palace or the ark of God.
However, in the eyes of the people, Absalom's strategy seemed to be successful. Absalom's royal status and fame, Absalom's own staging ability and popular nature, and tenacious four-year lobbying, all synergistically establish Absalom's position. Seemed to do. In a sense, it even seemed like this happened because God was on his side and God supported it.
However, the will of God was not there. God did not leave David abandoned. God gave concrete help to David, who wept and climbed the Mount of Olives and asked for God's help, without his knowledge. In other words, he moved the heart of the Arkite Hushai and became a friend of David. He later became the one who broke the advice of Ahithophel, who supported Absalom. We should think of God as the one who does the right thing. God never overlooks the sadness of man. No matter how skillful human scales are, or how the power of an organization can trample an individual, we must not lose our hope of God's justice. God is my rock, my refuge. And remember that there is God's plan to go beyond simply comforting the individual. There is also personal blessing and help in the realization of God's great plan. Let us trust in the Lord who does good. I pray that today will be a good day.
