The rainy season hasn't finished yet, but it was sunny from early in the morning and very hot today .
It's hot like midsummer.
Will this summer be very hot ?

Taking a walk in the evening, big clouds were seen in the sky.

While I was taking a walk, I could see beautiful sunset like this.
It sank behind the mountain soon.

It had been raining all day today, but it stopped raining in the evening.
So I went out for a walk.
On appearing from behind the cloud, the evening sun set soon.

Though I seldom see a rainbow recently even in summer, I happened to see it the other day.< > |
And we had a nice present on Christmas eve.
Today is the winter solstice ; To-ji in Japanese.
The daytime is the shortest of the year, but it will become longer and longer from tomorrow in spite of having the coldest days from now.
Besides Christmas and the New Year are coming soon.
So I feel something bright !
By the way, we have a custom of eating pumpkin and taking a citron bath on this day wishing for good health.

In Japan, we have a custom of enjoying 'Full moon at mid-autumn'.
We put pampas grasses in the vase and set some dumplings or taro on the plate in the room.
And we enjoy watching the full moon.
