Hot day

It's very hot today.
The highest temperature became more than 32℃.
It was 'Mid summer day';(Ma-na-tsu-bi).

Sunflowers began to bloom in Shizusan's vegetable field.





When I see this flower, I feel summer is around the corner !

Hydrangea ; （A-ji-sa-i）

 To see is to believe.

One sight is superior to hearing one hundred times when we know things.

A day trip

I had a day trip by a sightseeing-taxi in Tokyo on June 17.

I left Okayama airport at 7:30 a.m. for Tokyo.


And we arrived at Haneda airport about 9:00 a.m.
We got on a taxi there and went sightseeing all over Tokyo till 17:00.

First we we went to Taishakuten which is famous for a movie 'Torasan'.


Next we visited Yagirino watashi taht is famous for Hosokawa Takashi's song.


Then we went to Sensouji at Asakusa.
The picture is famous Kaminarimon.


We drove Nihon Bashi over that a expressway is runnnig .


We stopped in front of Kabukiza to take pictures.


About one o'clock in the afternoon, we had lunch at Tsukiji ichiba.
Many people were waiting in line in front of the many little retaurants.


After having lunch, we went to National Diet.


Next we visited Imperial Palace.


I could see many tall office buildings from the Palace Plaza.


Then we visited Yasukuni shrine.


Yuusyuukan where many war goods are exhibited was beside Yasukuni Shrine.


Then we got off our taxi in front of Guesthouse.
The building is Western style and the garden is so beautiful and large.


After that we went to Meiji shrine about four o'clock in the afternoon.
The approach of the gravel walk to the main shrine was very long.
But the many tall green trees were so nice!


After that we went to Odaiba.
This spot seems to be very popular among young people now.


And we drove through Rainbow Bridge.


The next day was my nephew's wedding.

After we attended it, we visited Tokyo tower.
The picture is a view from the tower.


After that we went to Haneda airport.


We had a nice holiday though we exhausted a little !

Frog and the flowers of Heavenly bamboo

Na-n-te-n

　The flowers of Heavenly bamboo are blooming now.
Its bud  looks like a rice .
When it opens , yellow stamens are cute.
A frog was on the leaves of  the tree.

Baby swallows　（06　6/15）

　Time and tide wait for no man.

In other words, 'Time flies like an arrow'.
So we should do what we can do now !

June Bride

There is a saying that a bride who marry in June will become happy in Europe.
Nowadays many couples marry in June in Japan too.



I went to Tokyo to take part in the wedding of my nephew the day before yesterday by a jet.
The wedding ceremony was held by a French　priest at a chapel yesterday.
After that we had a wedding party and enjoyed drinking, delicious food and and so on.
The bride was beautiful and the couple looked very happy.

Congratulations on the marriage !

So beautiful !

Sa-tsu-ki　　（06　6/14）

 Flowers of Sa-tsu-ki which is about 100 years old are in full bloom now.
This flower bloom when wheat ripen, so we call  it 'Mu-gi-u-ra-shi'  in my family.
It looks pink or red  around the tree even  at night !

Proverb 92

Ha-na-sho-u-bu

 The style is the man himself.

Reading his writing, we know the man.
His sentence shows his character.

Swallow

 Swallows laid their eggs in the nest of two places this year too.
One is on the ceiling of the entrance hall and the other is on the ceiling of the storehouse.

I saw three baby swallows in one nest today.
They cry loudly when their parents bring food to the nest.
Now they are very cute!

And parents swallows are making another nest next to the old one.

I was shown the name of  this pretty flower today.
Surfing on another person's blog, I saw the same picture as this.
I was very glad to know the name.

Rice planting

Rice fields filled with water

 Farmers are planting rice-plant now.
Rice fields around my house are filled with water.
Many farmers are working busily from early in the morning.
And I see many birds catching worms and hear the sound of frogs.
It's full of the feeling of rainy season !

Do-ku-da-mi

 It is no use crying over spilt milk.

There are things that we can't reset, so  we should be careful doing anything.

 

 

Flower of potato

These are flowers of potato.

I found them in Shizusan's vegetable field.
Color of the flower shows the kind of potato,.
For example, violet flower shows Me-e-ku-i-n and White shows Da-n-sya-ku.
We will dig up the potatoes soon.

 

Pond

 Lotus flowers will bloom before long on this pond.

 It was very hot today.
The temperature rose to 30℃ in Okayama.
I heard the rumbling of thunder in the evening far away.

Nice present

 My blog friend ame1 san presented these beautiful flowers named Ka-ra and Baby-breath; (Ka-su-mi-so-u) this morning.
She grows these flowers at his vegetable field with many kinds of vegetables.
I put them into a few vases .
