The following is my statement; as a subscriber to the Asahi Shimbun, I did not know Sukehiro Hirakawa, professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo. It is the chapter I sent out on 2016-11-05, titled.
I will be sending the next, and following chapters of the series of articles titled "There is a Saint in the Tea Ceremony," which appeared in today's Sankei Shimbun under the title "The Essence of Japanese Harmony as Known by the World's Leaders.
Since August of the year before last, I have been able to read his article because I started subscribing to a monthly magazine as mentioned above, and a friend of mine switched his subscription from the Asahi Shimbun to the Sankei Shimbun.
Almost everyone who subscribed to and read the Asahi Shimbun would not have wanted to visit the Ise Jingu Shrine.
Those who subscribed to and read the Asahi newspaper must have felt some antipathy, even subconsciously, toward shrines and temples, especially Shinto shrines.
It is the Shinto religion that led us to war.
Shinto had problems.
They must have felt that way.
I already mentioned Ise Jingu the other day.
In that article, I would like to add that the Ise Jingu Shrine had supreme architectural beauty, perfect carpentry, and ultimate craftsmanship.
Anxiously awaiting the opening of the Kyoto Imperial Guest House to the public, I visited it immediately.
Naturally, I was impressed by the highest level of craftsmanship.
But the architectural beauty of the Ise Jingu was even more impressive.
The ultimate beauty.
I have written that the three best people in the world to have ever gazed upon the essence of Kyoto's gardens were myself, Steve Jobs, and Jack Dorsey.
I have also mentioned Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle Corporation and one of the wealthiest men in the United States, who purchased Kaiuso at Nanzenji Temple for approximately 8.5 billion yen and has maintained it beautifully.
Steve Jobs must have felt that the ultimate beauty of simplicity was the essence of Japanese beauty.
I am convinced that this led to the completion of the rectangular, ultra-light iPod, the ultimate in simplicity, which eventually overtook Sony's Walkman.

本記事を読んだ私は以前に発信した幾つかの章を思い出した。
前章にてそれらの中から数章を発信した。
見出し以外の文中強調は私。　

千利休が大成した茶の湯の精神は海外のビジネス界をも魅了している。
外資系ＩＴ企業の日本オラクルは東京・青山の本社ビル最上階に茶室と日本庭園を設置し、精神性を体現する。
茶室「聚想庵（しゅうそうあん）」に続く石畳に足を踏み入れると、騒がしい都心とは別世界の静寂が広がり、手水鉢に落ちる水だけが音を発する。
「アメイジング（素晴らしい）」。
新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大前、茶室では取引先の外国人らが驚きの声を上げていた。

幾度も重要な商談の舞台となり、ビジネスを成功に導いた。
平成20年の自社ビル建設時に、日本文化に造詣が深い米オラクルのラリー・エリソン最高経営責任者（ＣＥＯ、当時）の意向で設置。
日本オラクルのディレクター、瀬谷一也さんは「社員がおもてなしの心を学ぶ場所としてもフル活用している。庭の天然のコケも常にいい状態を保たせており、箱モノをつくって終りではない」と語る。
「茶室では亭主と客が同じ目線で向き合い、茶を注いだ茶碗を介していろいろな話をする。お互いを尊重しながらいい時間を過ごすことができる」と話すのは、茶室を監修した遠州茶道宗家の小堀宗実（そうじつ）さん。
わびさびの精神に、美しさや明るさ、豊かさを加えた「綺麗さび」を掲げる遠州流は利休没後の江戸初期に誕生。
創始者の小堀遠州は、利休の弟子で武将の古田織部に師事した。
宗実さんは遠州流について「思いやりやもてなしの心を大切にする今日の茶道の基礎となっている」と説明。
庭師でもあった遠州の影響がみられる桂離宮（京都市）を好んだエリソン氏の要請で日本オラクルとの関わりが始まったという。　
米アップル創業者の故スティーブン・ジョブズ氏も茶の湯の精神性に魅せられた。
電話とパソコンを融合したiPhone（アイフォーン）をはじめとするジョブズ氏の生み出した製品は、世界の常識を覆し、生活を変えた。　
「洗練を突き詰めれば簡潔になる」（ジョブズ氏）とは、茶道の精神である禅に通じる。
ジョブズ氏は若き日に禅に出合ったことで自身の哲学や美意識に大きな影響を受け、永平寺（福井県）で出家しようとしたエピソードも残る。　
海外ビジネスマンの心をつかむ茶の湯の本質とは何か。
海外の要人に茶の機会を提供してきた茶道家の竹田理絵さんは著書の中で、茶道の基本精神は「和やかな心、清らかな心、動じない心」を意味する「和敬清寂」で、「茶道の修練によってその教えを心に刻み、人間として成長しようとする日本独特の道」と指摘。
「明日をも知れぬ武将が、茶の湯によって、己と向き合い、邪念を払って心を整えた」とする。
これは生き馬の目を抜くビジネスの世界とも共通しないか。　
竹田さんは利休の教えを踏まえ、「一日一日を大切に生きること。それが茶道の精神の重要な部分だ」とした。

世界を席巻しつつある茶の湯。
歴史家の加来耕三さんは、ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻などで世界が不安に包まれている現在だからこそ、自己を律し、心の平穏をもたらす茶道の精神はさらに広がるとみる。　
その上で、「茶道に対する世界の理解はもっと深い。『点前をやれば外国人は喜ぶ』ではなく、利休の茶の湯が非常に先鋭的だったことを忘れてはならない」と強調。「日本人が茶の湯の本質を理解し、時代に合う形で世界に発信しなければ自国のものでなくなるかもしれない」と警鐘を鳴らす。

The miracle of Fenollosa that occurred on 6/26/2012 at Homyoin was such an event that if I had been a person who lived from ancient times to the Middle Ages, I would have caused a great sect.
But before I mention it, there is something I would like to do.
Serious readers know I was hospitalized for eight months after suffering from a severe illness last year.
There was something that cheered me up very much at that time.
As you know, I have been blogging on three websites, hoping that "The Turntable of Civilization," which I published after fulfilling my God-given mission, would be subscribed to by people of all ages in all parts of Japan as soon as possible.

On one of these sites, I was informed in my hospital room that my classmates, seniors, and juniors, who are now active in the center of Japan, or people who are probably the same age as my classmates, were reading my blog every day.
It was something that cheered me up during my challenging time in the hospital, and I was grateful for it.
Today, I realized that the site had kept those records for only six months.
It was a bit of hard work, but I felt I had to keep this as a memorial of my gratitude.
Instead of my heartfelt gratitude for your ale, I will write it like the end roll of the movie.
I have received many more searches before this one, but I can only write from this one from February 2012.
Please forgive me.

京都の庭園の神髄を眺め続けて来た世界のベストスリー…もう一人加えれば…ラリー・エリソン

以下は、朝日新聞を購読していた私は東京大学名誉教授の平川祐弘氏のことは全く知らなかった。と題して2016-11-05に発信した章である。
今日の産経新聞に、世界の一流が知る和の本質、と題して掲載された連載記事「茶聖あり」を次章以降に発信するのだが、関連事項として再発信する。

一昨年の8月以来、既述のとおり月刊誌を購読し始めた事、友人が朝日新聞から産経新聞に購読を切り替えた事で、彼の論文を読むことが出来た。

朝日新聞を購読し、精読していた人たちの殆ど全員は伊勢神宮に行きたいとは思って来なかったはずである。

朝日を購読、精読して来た人間は、神社仏閣、特に神社に対しては何かしら、無意識的にも反感を持って来たはずである。
神社的なものが戦争に導いた。神道には問題があった。そのように思わされていたはずである。

伊勢神宮については先日既述した通り。
あの論文に、ここで書き加えれば、伊勢神宮には、至上の建築美、完璧な大工仕事、究極の職人芸があった。

京都御所、迎賓館の一般参観が開始されるのを待ち望んでいた私は、すぐに訪問した。
当然ながら最高の職人芸に感心した。

だが、伊勢神宮に在った建築美は、それ以上だったのである。
究極の美。

私は京都の庭園の神髄を眺め続けて来た世界のベストスリーは、私とスティーブ・ジョブス、ジャック・ドーシーの3人であると書いた。
もう一人付け加えれば、南禅寺の何有荘を約85億円で購入し見事に維持管理しているオラクルの創業者にして全米有数の資産家であるラリー・エリソンであると言及して来た。

スティーブ・ジョブスは、日本の美の神髄に究極のシンプル美があると感じていたはず。
それが終にＳＯＮＹのウォークマンを追い抜いた、あのシンプルの極致だった長方形にして超軽量のiPodの完成に繋がったと私は確信している。

だが、重要な要素だった円形のダイヤル操作システムは日本人が開発したもので、その技術者が勝訴した記事を読んだ私が少しばかり溜飲を下げた事も既述のとおり。

マルローに代表される欧米の最高の知性が、伊勢神宮を日本の最高と讃えているのが、どれほど当然な事であるか、先日、初めて伊勢神宮を訪れた私は痛感した。
同時に朝日新聞やＮＨＫに対して許しがたい怒りを覚えた事も既述のとおり。

朝日新聞が何故、あれほどの素晴らしさを持っている伊勢神宮、日本の美の究極、日本文化の神髄である伊勢神宮を否定して来たのか。

彼らは決して否定してきたとは言わないだろうが、伊勢神宮の神髄を伝えては来なかった事は、長年にわたり購読し精読して来た人間は皆知っている事だ。

今日、友人が購読している産経新聞に掲載されていた平川祐弘氏の論文で、私は、全てを理解した。
まるで平川さんが、私に答えを教えてくれたようなものだった。

私に一瞬にして、答えを知らせてくれた平川さんの論文は次章にて紹介する。

ここでは簡潔に私の答えを書いておく。
朝日新聞が戦前までの日本を悪と捉えなければならなかったからである事は、朝日新聞社の社員である松井やよりの言動や、論説委員たちが書き続けて来た論文に明らかである。

朝日新聞そのものである本多勝一が書いた「中国の旅」の大特集連載記事によって、中国共産党のプロパガンダである南京大虐殺を世界に広めた事、

吉田清治の全くの出鱈目を利用して、12回も特集記事を掲載報道して従軍慰安婦問題を世界に広めた事などだけでも、完璧に証明されているのである。

だが、戦前までの日本、有史以来の日本は、幼稚で悪質極まる彼等とは違って、世界でも稀有に偉大だったのである。
（この事については次章以降に書く）

朝日の幼稚な悪質さは、今日の社説にも明らかである。
日本のデフレを作ったのは、つまり、日本の失われた20年を作ったのは、当時の経済部の一記者であることは既述のとおり。

その日本の要らざる大停滞を初めて総力を挙げて解決しようとしているのが安倍政権である。
安倍政権と日銀のデフレ退治に急ブレーキを欠けている最たるものが、朝日を筆頭にしたメディアとこれに同調している学者たちが声高に主張し続けて来た消費税増税である事。

或いはそれ以上に、朝日が作った先進国史上初めての20年超に渡るデフレが、日本国民の心に、頑強なデフレマインドを作ってしまっている事すら知らず、日銀に敗北を認めよ、政策転換をせよ、などと説教を垂れているのである。

この幼稚で愚かな悪質さは筆舌に尽くしがたく、もはや許されるものではない。

わが命尽きるまで、与えられた使命を果たし続けて行く所存ですので、今後とも宜しくお願い致します。

2012/6/26に、法明院にて起きたフェノロサの奇跡というのは、若し、私が、古代から中世にかけて生きていた人間ならば、大変な宗派を起こしていただろうと思った程の出来事だったのですが、その事について、言及する前に、為しておきたい事があるのです。
去年、私が尋常ならざる大病を患って7ヶ月超に渡る闘病生活＝入院生活を送っていた事は、真摯な読者の方々は御存知の通り。
この時に、私をとても元気づけてくれていた事があったのです。
私が、神様から与えられた使命を終に果たして、上梓した、「文明のターンテーブル」が、出来るだけ早期に、日本中の津々浦々の、老若男女の方々に御購読いただける様に、と、3つのサイトにブログを書き続けていた事も御存知の通りです。

その中の一つのサイトでは、今は、皆、日本の中枢で活躍している、私の同級生や先輩、後輩の方々、或いは、全く同級生と同等の方々で在ろうと思われる方々が、毎日、読んでくれていた事が、私の病室に伝わっていたのです。
これは本当に大概では無かった闘病生活＝入院生活を送っていた私を本当に元気付けてくれた、とても有り難いものでした。
そのサイトが、それらの記録を保管しているのは、わずかに6ヶ月である事に、今日、気が付いたのです。
ちょっと大変な作業でしたが、これは私の感謝の記念としても、残しておかなければと。
同時に、皆さま方のエールに対する、心からの感謝に代えて、映画のエンドロールの様に、記します。
これ以前には、もっと沢山の検索を頂いていたのですが、今は、この2012年2月のものからしか記せないのです。

The share of the two major newspapers in Okinawa (Okinawa Times/Ryukyu Shimpo) is a whopping 98%! So, the share rate is 98%!
