ワイキキの喧騒から離れた高級住宅街「カハラ地区」のリゾートホテル、カハラホテルは今年で50周年。数々の有名人が訪れたときの写真が廊下に掲げられている。ビーチの前で結婚式を行うカップルも多い。
海を眺めながら「プルメリアビー チハウス」での朝食。毎朝ジムで汗をかいてから、プールや目の前のビーチで游いだり寝そべったりする。 午後はカハラモールやアラモアナを冷やかす。ハッッピイ・アワーに安く夕食をすませ、後は部屋やロビーのソファでノンビリする。
Pre-retirement vacations at the Kahara
It's been almost 15 years since we visited Hawai last time. We visited various places in the Ohafu, Kauai and the Big Island. This time we decided just to relax at the Kahara Hotel; Breakfast at the beach-side restaurant, spending the morning time at the hotel gym, pool and beach. Skipping lunch and move to Kahala mall or Aramoana shopping center for a happy hour dinner.
