『モノラルを楽しく聴きたい！vol.15』の続きです。
昔ジャズ喫茶で聴いたJBLの古いホーンシステムの音を思い出して
高域をイコライジングしてみました。

その結果、次の特性が近いと感じました。
8KHz : -3dB
16KHz : -6dB
やはり高域を適度に落としたとき
ジャズ喫茶のJBLに近づくようです。
当時のJBLやアルテックのスピーカーの資料を見ると
16KHzまで再生するというようなことが書かれています。
一般にスピーカーの周波数特性は-10dBをもって高域限界としています。
16KHzで-6dBは、その範囲内であると考えることができます。
現代のスピーカーは30～40KHzまで再生するのはあたりまえですので
8KHzではほとんど落ちていないと考えられます。
どうもこのあたりが秘密のようです。
この機能を『モノラルを楽しく聴くアダプター』に加える方法を考えてみましょう。

As a result, it was thought that the following characteristic was near.
8KHz : -3dB
16KHz : -6dB
Old JBL is resembled when treble is decreased moderately.
It is written by the data of old JBL and Altec that it reproduces to 16 kHz.
Generally, the frequency characteristic of the speaker makes -10dB the tereble limit.
"16kHz -6dB" is the within the limits.
As for a present-day speaker, it is natural to reproduce 30-40 kHz.
It is not decreasing in 8 kHz.
Let's consider how to add this function to "the adapter which hears a monophonic recording happily."
