I had a happy dinner with my former coworkers at a Chinese restaurant KAOH Chinese restaurant華王飯店in Shinjuku yesterday.
Huh? Is there a Chinese restaurant around here?
I was thinking that and walking around Nishi Shinjuku which was my vernal place.
What for?
I don’t think about the religious thing but I believe that there is someone like god of land.
The place that l am relaxed is around Shinjuku Yodobashi.
There was the place where my grand mother grew up and she said in life that she went to the Yodobashi junior school.
But I knew the fact when I became a business man.
“Hey Match-chan! Wipe the bottles!”
Miss Kawahara, bar proprietress ordered to me.
Why do I work the Karaoke bar at such place?
And why I pinned on a name tag “Match-chan”.
When I was a university student, I worked at the Karaoke bar “Miki” in the quarter of Shinjuku in those days.
However thanks of working there I loved Karaoke very much!
One day there was no guests at the bar, the proprietress permitted me to sing songs by karaoke.
I only used the karaoke since 6 p.m. when the bar was opening until midnight.
I was singing and singing and singing.
It has been about 25 years ago but I remember the scene even now.
Oh what I am talking about?
I found that the Chinese restaurant is near the Karaoke bar.
And I was going in the restaurant and I saw the owner of the restaurant.
“Huh? Ｉ was familiar with the owner? “ I said.
But I could not remember the man
Soon after my friend came the restaurant, he asked me that I ordered Szechuan Sesame Hot Noodles.
Oh Szechuan Sesame Hot Noodles!
I remembered.
It was the restaurant where I had came with my co-worker when I worked in Shinjuku.
And I always ordered the Szechuan Sesame Hot Noodles with some lunch menu.
The owner always said ok! I was ordered the noodle.
I do not understand the restaurant because it is more beautiful than before.
The owner said it was rebuilt ten years ago.
And I think the owner was also refined.
But the taste of the noodle was changed I think.
That is the reason why the owner did not recommended it.
However I find another favorite restaurant there!
I like karaoke very much.
