Korea Veterans Association (KorVA), the largest security organization in S. Korea, revealed that "We positively support that S. Korean ministry of defense's decision to embed the phrase [The North Korean administration and its Korean People's Army (KPA) are our enemies] in the 2022 national defense white paper, which is scheduled to be published early next year."

On Dec. 9, the KorVA conveyed that "We positively support and welcome that ministry of national defense's decision of direction to express that [the KPA is our enemy] in the defense white paper to be published early next year.

The KorVA explained that "Over the past several decades, despite Seoul's unwavering and unremitting efforts and numerous economic aids for inter-Korean reconciliation cooperation and peace construction on the Korean Peninsula, not to mention various long- and short range missiles development and deployment such as ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles) & SLBMs (Submarine-launched Ballistic Missile), N. Korea has been keen to turn nuclear weapons into deadly weapons through six nuclear tests" and criticized that "The whole world is astonished at the recent use of the timing of the 7th nuclear test as a bargain."
