Okay, let me talk about our IVF stuff today.
今回の体外受精のスケジュールはこんな感じで進めております。
Here's the schefule of this cycle.
8月8日 ピルの服用を止める（5月5日から飲んでいました。）
Aug. 8th Stopped taking birth control pills. (I started from May 5th.)
8月12日 2つの薬を自己注射で投薬開始
Aug. 12th Started taking 2 kinds of shots.
Menopur （メノピュア（製品名）／黄体形成ホルモンと卵胞刺激ホルモンのお薬で卵を発育させる効果がある。）
Gonal-f（ゴナールエフ（製品名）／卵胞刺激ホルモンのお薬で、こちらも卵を発育させる効果がある。）

8月16日 卵胞の発育の経過を見るエコー＆血液検査

8月19日 12日に自己注射を始めた薬に加えて、セトロタイド（Cetrotide）という薬の自己注射開始

8月21日 卵胞の発育の経過を見るエコー＆血液検査
Aug. 21st Ultrasound to check follicles & Lab test
この記事で、12日から始めた自己注射の薬について詳しく書きましたが、今日は緑字の19日から追加で打った薬について書いてみたいと思います。
On this article, I wrote about how I'd done my self-shots, and let me talk about an additional shots which I started from Aug.19th.
12日（土）から毎朝注射している2種類の薬はこちら。
The shots that I started from Aug 12th were these.

➀Gonal-f （卵胞刺激ホルモン/FSH）

➁MENOPUR®（ヒト閉経後ゴナドトロピン/HMG）

MENOPUR® （注射用 Menotropin）は、ホルモンを含有する処方薬です。MENOPUR には、卵胞刺激ホルモンと
黄体形成ホルモンの働きが含まれます。これらのホルモンは健康な卵巣を刺激し、卵子を作ります。MENOPUR は
妊娠するために医学的な手助けが必要な女性に使用します。妊娠計画の一部として担当医師は複数の薬を処方する
ことがあります。

で、自己注射を始めてから2回目の卵胞チェックをした18日の診断の後、先生から今まで通り朝に上の2種類の薬を打つのに加えて、朝にも打っている薬の一つ、➀Gonal-f （卵胞刺激ホルモン/FSH）を追加で75mlと新たにセトロタイド(Cetrotide）という薬を夜に打つようにとの指示がありました。
After the 2nd appointment to monitor my follicles, my doctor told me to add 75ml more of Gonal-f and also start taking shot called Cetrotide at night.

➂セトロタイド
セトロタイド（Cetrotide）
効能：調節卵巣刺激下の早発排卵の防止
今までの卵胞の発育状況を見て、➀Gonal-f （卵胞刺激ホルモン/FSH）を加えて刺激を強めて発育をより促すのと同時に、➂セトロタイドを打つことで採卵前に排卵してしまうのを防ごうという事だと思います。
I assume that my doctor examined how much my follicles had grown by then and decided to add a little bit of Gonal-f to stimulate the eggs more at the same time preventing them to ovulate before the egg retrieval by taking Cetrotide.
こちらが実際に受け取ったセトロタイドの箱と中身。
This was a box of Cetrotide and the inside package.
先日、この記事でいかにこの体外受精関係の薬を受け取るまでのプロセスが面倒くさいか書いたんですが、幸いにもこちらの薬は最初に送ってもらった便に入っていたので新たに色々と手続きする必要はありませんでした。
The other day I complained how complicating and frustrating it was to take care of the process to receive the medications, but thankfully I already had got Cetrotide in the first delivery and didn't have to go through any more arrangement to get this medicine. 
中身はこんな感じで、粉薬の入った瓶、粉薬と混ぜる食塩水の入った注射器、薬剤を混ぜる用の注射針、皮膚に刺す用の注射針が入っています。
Again, the inside package was like this. It included a little jar of powder medicine, syringe with saline liquid and 2 sizes of needles.
こちらの薬の打ち方に関しては、もちろん箱の中に説明書も入っていましたが、この動画を参考にしました。
The package had an instruction, of course, but I watched this video on YouTube when I was doing the first time.

まぁ、他の注射の仕方とほぼ一緒なので、上の動画もササっと観るだけで、「あー、そんな感じね。」とすぐに理解できました。
I'd been taking other medications which were similar to this one, so just by watching the video once, "Oh, okay." I could easily get how to do it
結果、この追加の注射を打っていたのは19日から22日までの4日間だけでしたが、それでも朝に2本、夜に2本、毎日4本お腹に注射していると、それ程注射に抵抗のないHit-chanも、「結構多いなぁ。」と感じました。
I ended up taking the additional dosages for 4 days from the Aug. 19th through 22nd. During the time, I took 2 shots in the morning and 2 shots at night everyday. Even though I usually don't mind taking shots so much, I felt it was kind of a lot of shots for the 4 days.
ちなみにこの前書くのを忘れたんですが、今回の自己注射、全部で5種類かな？の薬を打ったんですが、痛みレベルで言えばダントツに➁MENOPUR®（ヒト閉経後ゴナドトロピン/HMG）が痛かったです。
BTW, I forgot to tell this before, but among the 5 kinds of self-shots, Menopur was far and away the most painful one.
まぁ、毎日注射してたら嫌でも気づくと思うんですが、最近の注射針は凄く良くできていて、刺す時に少しは痛みはあるとはいえ、刺す場所によっては痛みを感じない時もあるくらいなんです。
Although, the modern medical equipments are well-made. I learned that there's only a subtle pinch when I stuck a needle in and even no pain depending on the spot sometimes.
ただ、針を刺した後に薬を注入する際に痛みがあるかどうかは薬によって違うみたいで、Hit-chanの場合は➁MENOPUR®（ヒト閉経後ゴナドトロピン/HMG）を注入する時だけは「痛ってぇ。。。」と毎回思っていました。
Although, the pain level when you insert the liquid medichine differs depending on the medication, and only when injecting Menopur, I always felt, "Wow, it hurts..."
逆に、それ以外の薬に関しては注入する時には痛みを伴わず薬が入って行く感覚が無いものもありました。
On the other hand, the other medicines didn't cause any much pain when I injected them.
まぁ、そんな訳で、今日は追加の薬と注射の痛みに関してちょっとお話させてもらいました。
