On the day of fall festival

In the afternoon, I went handing out a 'TALISMAN';'OFUDA' in Japanese and a few 'rice crackers';'senbei ' to our neighbors.

On the festivai day, they were prayed at the shrine for the rich harvest, good luck and health and so on.
After that we were given them.

This year, I am on duty of handing out various kinds of things to the houses near here.
I must go around about 30 houses.
It is a good exercise if I walk to do the job.
Sometimes I walk and sometimes I ride a bicycle.

I couldn't hand it out to everyone because they weren't home, so I walked around twice.

Chestnut

　Chestnut is one of the nuts in fall.

I was presented these chestnuts from our neighbor the other day and today too.
I boiled them and had them a lot.
They were good.

Scarecrow

There are scarecrows in the rice field.

They are very colorfull.
Sparrows that come to eat the eras of rice will frighten to see them.
