The sky was light pink yesterday evening.
I took pictures of it through a persimmon tree.
As I don't know which picture to upload, I uploaded both of them. 
Wild chrysanthemums and weeds
It has been raining since last night.
Farmers can't harvest rice plants, so they have a holiday today.
It rained much after a long time.
As vegetables in the field got much water, they will grow
better!
My husband finished harvesting all his rice plant yesterday, so he is drying the paddies using a drying machine now .
Today was a quiet day without the sound of harvesting machines.
It's getting cooler and cooler.The clouds in the sky are changing its shape to the one of fall.
And the sky is getting higher and higher from now.
We can see the sign of fall here and there !
It was rainy all day.A very big and strong typhoon no.14 is coming to Japan island.
It'll hit us around tomorrow evening.
The typhoon will bring much rain and strong wind.
I hope it won't bring much damage like a hurricane;'Katrina' that attacked southern U.S.A about a week ago.
We should be careful !!
While I was taking a walk in the yesterday evening, I saw a sky with these clouds.The shape of the cloud is also changing from the cloud of summer to the one of fall.
Today is the first day of autumn in the traditional Japanese calender.
Though it's hot during the day, it will become cooler and cooler in the early morning and at night.
And we can hear the sound of various kinds of insect.
As you know, typhoon No.7 is coming near the Kanto district.It will be the first one to hit Japan island if it lands.
But it is not certain whether it will land on or not yet.
It brought much rain at other part of Japan, for example, Shizuoka prefecture.
And it caused the disorder of traffic like trains, airlines and highways very much.
Here in Okayama prefecture, it was cloudy and windy all day.
Now it's fine.
(It hit near Kamogawa city in Chiba prefecture about 8 o'clock in the evening.)
It's very hot. Perhaps many people are using air conditioners today.
I am not using air-con now but I am opening every windows and doors so that the cool wind from the rice-fields could blow through the rooms.
The only sound I hear is the cry of cicada and insects.
I see nobody outside.
So farmers must be taking a nap in their house.
It's the silent afternoon.
Seeing these ice cubes, I feel cool a little !!

The meteorological agency announced the end of the rainy season in Kanto-Koshin, Kinki, Chugoku and Tokai region.
It's very hot here in Okayama today.
Evening sky after the shower
Today is the day of 'The Star Festival'.
There was a shower and thunder for a short while in the evening.
And the sky isn't so clear that I can't see 'The Milky Way' well now.
Will 'Weaver star(Star Vega) and Altair';( O-ri-hi-me and Hi-ko-bo-shi) who can date only once a year on July 7 be able to see each other?
I wish they could date !! 
It was very hot today.
I went for a walk with my digital camera in the evening and took this picture.
During my walk, I often meet someone whom I seldom see.
This evening too, I saw one of my acquaintance who was also taking a walk and we enjoyed chatting for a while.
June eleventh was the beginning of the rainy season here in Okayama.
But it was fine today.
Though farmers are longing for rain now, I could see beautiful pink sky this evening, so it'll be fine tomorrow too.
Today May 3, (Constitutioin day) was a beautiful day.It's hot a little.
The leaves of a persimmon tree are shining in the sun.
It's a peaceful scene, isn't it?
We should think about peace and Japanese nice constitution including 'renunciation of war' today.
Shoud we revise the constitution or not?
It's a very important ploblem!!
