野菜隊員のＫ君からもらったオクラの種を裏庭に蒔いておいたところ、いつの間にか芽を出して、かなり大きくなってきました
最初は雑草と間違えて抜こうとしましたが、ほかの雑草と葉の形が違うことに気づき、Ｋ君に確認したところ葉の特徴からおそらくオクラであろうということでした
生えている場所は裏庭の屋外洗濯物干し場で、一時期タイガーのトイレになっていたので養分は十分かもしれません
収穫時期が楽しみです
I had planted the seeds of “Okura” which the agricultural volunteer K gave me at my back yard.
It had sprouted out and grown up before I knew it.
When I found it I was going to pull out as one of the weeds but I realized the difference between other weeds.
I enquired to K and his answer was probably it was Okura considering the shape of it’s leaves.
The place is the laundry dry area at my back yard and there used be a toilet of tiger and the nourishment may be enough.
I’m looking forward to harvesting.
