カレーだよ～ It's Curry

アパートの隣人はインド人家族です

エレベーターの前は夕方になると、毎日カレーの匂いが漂っています

張り合うつもりはないけれど、今日はこちらが先に仕掛けました

4時半頃からタメネギをむいて、約5人前のポークカレーを作りました

１回で食べるのはもちろん1人分ですが、残りは１食分ずつ小分けして冷凍にします

あるときはカレーうどん、あるときはスープカレーに姿を変えて食べます

おそらくお昼にカレーうどんで食べることが多くなりそうです

ご飯も今日は２合炊きましたので、5食分はあります

これも１食分ずつラップに包んで冷凍しておくと、疲れたときや食事の準備が面倒なときには大変助かります

 

　

　

 

My neighbor of the apartment is Indian family.

Every evening the flavor of curry is leaking around the elevator hall.

I don’t intend to compete with my neighbor, but today I started to cook curry earlier.

Starting to peel the onion at 4:30 and I cooked poke curry of five dishes.

Of course I have one dish for one dining, I keep them subdividing into every one package frozen.

Sometimes I cook it as the curry noodle, sometimes as curry soup I will reform.

Probably I will often cook as the curry noodle for lunch.

Today I cooked two cups of rice too and it is estimated for five times.

After eating tonight I will subdivide into four and wrap them by the plastic sheet and keep frozen too.

It will be very useful for the time of so tired and don’t like to cook.

市内観光 City Sight Seeing

今日は午前中にタクシーで市内観光をしました

メコン川の近くにあるカジノ、ここは遠目に見ただけで通過して川沿いの古い町並みを通り、ワット・プノンという丘の上の仏教寺院に参拝

日本の寺には鐘楼があり、青銅の鐘が吊るされていますが、ここでは鐘ではなく太鼓が宙吊りになっていました

次に国立博物館と王宮を見学しました

すべての入場料が合計12.５ドルでした

国立博物館にはクメール王朝時代の品々が数多く収められています

興味深く感じたのは、仏教国カンボジアにヒンズー教が大きく影響していることです

いたるところにヒンズーのガルーダ神や獣の顔をした守護神の像があります

博物館の中は写真禁止なので撮影できませんでしたが、ここでも中国人観光客はお構いなしにフラッシュを焚いてセキュリティから注意を受けています

最も多い観光客はベトナム（ホーチミンまでわずか100km）でその次が中国人だそうです

National Museum

Today I went out for sightseeing of Phnom Penh city by taxi.

The first one was the big casino building with hotel but just watching through the window.

Driving down the river side of Mekong, I visited the Buddhism temple Watt Phnom at the top of the hill.

Usually Japanese Buddhism temple has the bronze bell hang down at the bell tower but amazingly there was a drum instead.

Next I visited the national museum and the Royal Palace.

The total entrance fee was $6.5.

In the museum there were so many antiques of Khmer Dynasty and I felt that Buddhism country Cambodia had strongly influenced by Hinduism.

There were many Garuda and statues of the guardians which had the animal head.

In the museum taking photo was prohibited and I don’t have pictures of the inside but Chinese tourists didn’t care at anywhere using the flash and made troubles too with the securities.

The biggest numbers of the tourists are from Vietnam (only 100km far from Ho-Chi-Minh City), and second is Chinese.

 

お好み焼き Okonomiyaki

仕事帰りに寄ったスーパーで「お好み焼き粉」を見つけて飛びつきました

早速作り始めましたが、材料のキャベツがないことに気がつきました

そこで冷蔵庫にあったミニ白菜を1個刻んで使うことにしました

太さ4cm長さが12cmぐらいでしょうか、キャベツより少し水分が多く、柔らかい感じです。いつもはこれを漬物にして食べています

そこでついでに冷蔵庫にあったもやしも加えてみました

肉はウインナソーセージを刻んで入れました

フライパンで片面を焼いたあと、裏返してフタをして蒸し焼きにします

そのほかの材料は、トンカツソースとマヨネーズに花かつお

これに青海苔があれば完璧ですが、そこまで言うのは贅沢というもの

もやし入りお好み焼きは意外といけますぞ

 

 

I found the “Okonomiyaki powder” at the super market on the way to apartment and bought it soon.

I started to cook but I realized that I didn’t have the main actor cabbage.

I decided to use the mini-Chinese cabbage instead.

It was about 4cm in diameter and 12cm length and had little bit more water and floppy.

Usually I have it pickled.

I add the bean sprouts from the refrigerator and chopped Wiener sausage too.

Bake the dough for one side and after turned bake it again with the cover.

Other actor and actress were Tonkatsu Sauce, mayonnaise and dried fish flake.

If there is sea weed powder it must be perfect but extravagant.

Okonomiyaki with beans sprout was pretty nice.

母子保健センター National Maternal & Child Health Centre

今日は母子健康センターを視察してきました

1990年代に日本の無償資金援助で建てられたこの病院は、さすがに作りもしっかりしています

３階建ての吹き抜けになったエントランスにはユニセフとJICAの名前が入った優良病院の認定プレートがあります

待合室や受付も整然として清潔感があります

さらにトイレを覗いてみると、きれいに清掃され便器にはTOTOの文字がくっきり

最近のODAでは建築および付帯設備の資材を現地で調達することが多いようで、日本製のものを見ることは少なくなっています

これを見ただけで、何となく安心できる施設でした

 

 

Today I visit the “National Maternal and Child Health Centre” which had been constructed by Japanese grant in the age of 1990, it was constructed by Japan and seemed having a strong foundation.

At the well hole styled entrance of three stories, there was the certificate plate by UNICEF and JICA as the excellent practicing hospital.

Both the waiting space and the reception counter were clean and well ordered.

When I used the rest room, I found the name of “TOTO” on the toilet.

At the scene of recent ODA, most of the construction materials and incidental facilities are procured the local products and we don’t see the Japanese products like this.

I felt quite relieved only to see it.

豚テリヤキ定食 Teriyaki Pork Dinner

今日のディナーは豚肉のテリヤキ定食

約1cm厚の豚肉スライスを２枚、醤油と味醂に生姜を加えたタレに10分ほど漬けたあと、

フライパンで焼くだけです

レタスの上に置いて、焼きダレをフライパンから直接かけます

サイドメニューはいつものきゅうりスティックです

昨日新しい炊飯器で炊いたご飯をラップに包んで冷蔵庫に入れておいたものを、電子レンジで温めて食べましたが、美味しくいただけました

前回はやはり炊飯器の性能が悪かったようです

炊飯器の底にこびりついたおこげも、水を満たしておいただけで、朝までにきれいに取れました

 

 

Today’s dinner is the pork teriyaki.

Prepare the 1cm thick slice of the pork and put them into the soy-sauce and mirin mixed sauce with sliced ginger and leave them about 10 minutes.

After then, just grill it on the fry-pan.

Put them on the lettuce leaves and put the sauce on it.

Side menu was the cucumber stick with soy-past.

I cooked the rice yesterday with a new rice cooker and put in the refrigerator.

Warming about 1.5 minutes with the micro-wave, it was good enough to eat.

Probably the previous rice cooker was out of order.

Scorching on the bottom of the cooker was able to remove even I fulfilled water for a night.
