泥棒らしい It must be a Thief

到着した夜ですが、寝る前に窓の外を見ようとして、カーテンを開けると、窓のロックがかかっていません

部屋は中庭のプールに面した部屋で、窓の外はすぐにプールです

そのときは無用心だなと思いましたが、気にせずにロックして寝ました

深夜２時半頃、物音で目を覚ましてカーテンを開けると、鍵の開いていた窓に手をかけて開けようとしている男と目が合いました

かれはすぐに逃走し、セキュリティを呼んで事情を話そうとしましたが、英語が通じなくてそのまま寝ました

朝、ホテルの支配人に厳重に抗議したのですが、実害がなかったのだからと謝ろうともしません

２重カーテンで完全に隠された場所にある鍵が開いていても、普通は気付かないでしょう

明らかに誰かが故意に鍵を開けておいて、深夜に忍び込む手口だったと思われます

というわけでホテル住まいはやめて、アパートに住むことにしました

昨日は現地スタッフに付き合ってもらって、アパートを決めてきました

今日引越しをしますが、アパートの詳細はそのあと落ち着いてからあらためてご紹介します

On the day I had arrived at this hotel, just before I went to bed, I tried to open the window of the room.

The room was facing to the patio and outside of the window was the swimming pool.

I opened the curtain and tried to open the window, then I found that the window was unlocked.

I felt it was very dangerous and I locked it by myself and went to bed.

At the deep night I was awaked by the strange sound around the window and opened the curtain.

I found a man who was trying to open the window.

The man runaway soon and I called the security and told it.

But the security didn't understand English.

I reported to the GM of the hotel in the nex morning but he said the hotel was not responsible for this because I had no actual harm.

I felt that even a good hotel in this country was not reliable.

I decided to live in the apartment house.

Yesterday I looked for the flat and found a good one.

Today I will move to the flat and the details of the room will be reported after moving.

 

 

ハッスルおやじinプノンペン Hustle Oyaji in Phunom Penh

昨夜現地時間の8時にプノンペンに到着し、無事にホテルにチェックインできました

バンコクの乗り継ぎ時間があまりなかったので、かなり焦りました

バンコクの到着ゲートで係員がカードを持って、プノンペンへ乗り継ぎの乗客をD8ゲートへ急ぐようにと案内していました

慌ててD8ゲートに行きましたが、入口がロックされていて、しかもゲート内には誰も見えません

手荷物を転がしながら案内所に行くと、間違いなくD８だといいます

D8がクローズになっていると話しましたが、すぐに行けというだけです

もう一度D８に戻ると今度はゲートが開いていて、手続きをしていました

日本の常識では、国際線のゲートは少なくとも1時間半前には開いていますが、ここでは定刻の10分前でやっとゲートオープンでした

さらに搭乗してびっくり

ビジネスクラスの座席はエコノミーと全く同じで、境目にカーテンがあるだけです

ただし3人がけの座席の中央は座面がテーブルになっていて、隣の客とは間隔が開けてあります

こんなビジネスクラス始めて見たぜ！

I had arrived at Puhnom Penh International Airport last night 8:00 in local time　and I could check in very easy.

At the transit in the Bankok airport, the transit time was very short and the airline staff led transfer passengeres to the Gate of D8.

I had run to the Gate D8 but it was closed and I couldn't find anyone in the gate.

I went back to the information and asked but they said it was sure and I should go to D8 immediately.

I had ran to the D8 and found several passengeres were checking in.

Surprisingly, they opened the gate only 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

In Japanese common sense international airlines are opning the gate at least 1 and half hours prior to the time.

Furthermore Iwas surprised again on boarding.

The seats of the business class were quite same with the economy class and just separated with a thin curtain.

Only the center seats of three in a row were closed with the table on the seat and kept the distance between next.

It was the first time for me to see such kind of business class. 

 

iPadから更新 Try to up date through iPad

今日はiPadから投稿の練習です

ただの練習ですので、内容はほとんどありません。

カンボジアにはこれを持参してなるべく多く更新したいと思います。

 

Today I'm trying to update through iPad.

It is just a practice and no deep meaning.

I'll take this with me to Cambodia and up date much more.

Tシャツ買った Bought T-shirt

カンボジアへの出発日程が決まりました

１月25日に成田からバンコク経由でプノンペンに入ります

これに先立って、現地の気候を調べると、今週の気温は最高で33度、最低23度とまさに夏の気候です

昨年ソロモンから帰国するときに、現地で着ていたTシャツとか半袖のシャツなどは殆ど隣人にあげてきたので手持ちがありません。

そこで今日はショッピングセンターへTシャツを買いに行ってきました

ところがどの店も夏用の薄いTシャツは店頭に置いていません

最後の頼みでユニクロへ行ってみたら、ありました

カラーの無地Tシャツを4色買ってきました

おそらく現地ではスーツを着てネクタイ締めるよりも、Tシャツで仕事するほうが多いように思えます

 

 

The departure date for Cambodia had decided.

25^th of this month I will leave for Phnom Penh via Bangkok.

Preceding the departure I checked the climate of Cambodia in this season, the estimated highest temperature of the day is 33 and lowest is 23 degrees respectively in this week.

It must be quite summer.

Last year before I came back from Solomon Islands I left all my T-shirts and summer cloths for neighbors.

So I don’t have any T-shirts with me.

Today I went shopping to look for T-shirts but no shop had had them now and I visit Uni-qlo and found it.

I bought four different simple colors of them.

Probably in Cambodia I will not put the white shirt with tie but T-shirt during most of the working time.

プロポーザル採用 The Proposal Accepted

仕事はじめの今日、JICA調達部から連絡があり、12月に提出したプロポーザル採用の通知を受けました

すぐに日程調整に入り、１月25日出発で、5月9日に帰国します

105日の滞在期間でしなければならない事がたくさんあって、決して楽な仕事ではありませんが、全力で取り組んできたいと思います

2年にわたる南国生活で寒さに弱くなった身体には、とても優しい国のようです

しかし昨年片付けた夏服を引っ張り出すのも、ひと仕事になりそうです

 

Today the first working day of the year, I received the information from JICA H.Q that the proposal I submitted last month had accepted.

The adjustment of the schedule had be done soon and I will depart January 25^th and stay in Cambodia for 105 days.

During stay in Cambodia there are so many things to do and it will be very tough work　but I will do my best.

However for my body that became weaker by the lives of two years in the southern islands, it will be very good.

I have another hard work to pull out summer clothes that I put in the deep place of the closet.
