今、新型インフルエンザは、

最近、あまり話題になりませんが、新型インフルエンザは、依然、拡大中です。

新型インフルエンザは、一般の季節型インフルエンザより、
持続的に人体の呼吸器系の組織を攻撃することがテスト結果から明らかになった。　
一般の季節型インフルエンザは頭部に留まるが、
新型インフルエンザは、より深く呼吸器系の組織へ侵入して、
肺炎を起こす可能性があるようである。

H1N1 swine flu attacks the respiratory(呼吸器) system
in a more sustained way than the standard seasonal virus,
research in animals shows.
Tests showed swine flu multiplies in greater numbers across
the respiratory system, and causes more damage.
And instead of staying in the head like seasonal flu,
it penetrates deeper into the respiratory tissues (組織)
- making it more likely to cause pneumonia(肺炎).

死者は500人と推定されている。
