Hope everyone's enjoying the beautiful Spring season! Still cool weather here in Okinawa unlike usual year but I really like it.
I decided to have my solo exhibition at RYUBO SALON again in this December! The place is known as the most prestigeous commercial gallery which is very selective in featuring artists. I've been having the show in Wintertime for 13years. I only skipped last winter for my NYC show (and of cource it was worth it!!!!)
To tell the truth, Been thinking to quit taking this fantastic solo show opportunity since I have my fancy Studio/Gallery to show the pieces and thankful enough to have MORE than fancy clients visiting. That could be enough to be happy for me. Besides,I need more time to relax and fool around. But at the same time, I know there are another wonderful fans who's looking forward my annual show in Ryubo. Well. Maybe I need to learn saying "NO". lol.
So, anyhow, it's still only April though the time table is going to be very strict one for me to create the new pieces since None of Zero original paintings in my studio at present!!!! As you see, I'm already having lots of FUN events starting with the Pen-Drawing Studio show in January, the Giftshop shows FULLY scheduled in 2014, lots of Studio visits by wonderful customers, various socialize events, hopefully another travels (umm..It's clearly impossible for this year so far), and more upcoming. Oh. My baby girl is turning to 20 this weekend!! Woohoo!It's gonna be a BIG party with lots DRINKING with my only daughter!!!!

例年より肌寒い４月。皆様お元気でお過ごしのことと思います。新入学や就職を見事に決めた皆様、本当におめでとうございます！石の上にも三年。辛いこともあるだろうけどしっかり頑張ってね。幸せはみずから掴み取らなければ、ね。政府の皆さん、アベノミクス上手にhandlingしてよね若者達のためにも。
さて、お知らせするにはちょっと早いけど今年はリウボウ個展 開催決定です！ぱんばかぱーん。2014年12月9日(火)－15日(月)。昨年はstudio移転のドタバタと、結局この時期ニューヨーク展示会に参加していてskip。年のせいかめっきり動作もノロく、楽しい集まりばかり参加してなるべく楽な方向に流れされつつあった私に、長年のリウボウ展協力者・ギャラリーアトス長嶺さんからの電話が喝を入れてくれた。
そもそもリウボウ美術サロンは県内随一のcommercial galleryであり、選ばれたプロ作家のみを扱う。そのような画廊で、しかも12月のハイシーズンに12年間（ん？13年間だったかな）もフィーチャーしてもらってるのだからそれはもう光栄な限り。ただ、本当に現在スタジオにはアクリル画が一つもなく（お買い上げ下さいました皆様には心から感謝いたします）これから猛チャージで描かなければ間に合わない。Studio Visitでお見せする予定や、毎月のGiftshop showもリウボウ展の直前までギッシリ予定されている。社交や遊びも多い。ますます遊べなくなるし、旅行も今年は無理になっちゃうなあと、怠惰きわまりないたわごとを繰り返した挙句、
「頑張りマッスル」
と返事していた。。バカなんだか画家なんだかさっぱり分からん私にいつも根気よく接してくれる長嶺さん、素晴らしいスタッフの新垣さんありがとう。そして個展を毎年楽しみにして下さるリウボウ美術サロンの顧客の皆様に敬意を表しつつ、頑張りたいと思います。昨年冬のアメリカ東海岸の旅がアクリル画楽園シリーズの良いモチーフになりそう。
さあ忙しい。明日はここ数年間僭越にも審査員を務めさせていただいている『沖縄広告協会/第32回広告賞』審査会がある。水曜から４日間はGift Shop Show。その間にもLunchとPartyがひとつずつ。もっとも楽しみなのは末っ子（娘）の20歳の誕生日。週末家族で寿司・イタリアン・焼肉・懐石かでまだもめてる。堂々と娘と飲めるなんて母さん幸せ。
