高島宗一郎・福岡市長

　福岡市の高島宗一郎市長は１１月４日、犬や猫の殺処分数ゼロを目指す「ゼロへの誓い」を宣言する。市は２００９年度から飼い主を説得するなど犬、猫の引き取り数を増やさない取り組みを展開しており、「殺処分ゼロ」への活動を本格化させる。
