In 229 years, Congress has never had a Muslim woman representative — until now. Michigan has elected Rashida Tlaib (D) to Congress. She also will be the first-ever Palestinian American member of Congress.
イスラム教徒が当選したことを意義は大きいが、イスラム教徒だから、なにか特に、という印象はないね。
イスラム教のなかには、Hate Preacher みたいなのがいるが、しかし、白人のなかには、KKKみたいのもあって、組織としてはもっと大きい。
イスラム教徒だけ、とりたててなにかいうのには、どうも違和感がある。
