調査中だから何とも言えない。
海外で日本人が拘留中に死んだら、公衆もメディアも大騒ぎだぞ。
２重基準が単純明快、と。
そうかな？
今回のケースの場合、空港、死亡でググると
主要な新聞社、そのほか、すべて報道している。
他方、拘留中の死亡について、例えば、ググると
、日本での日本人の場合、
それほどおおさわぎになっていはない、と思う。
海外での日本人拘留中の死亡のケースというのを探してもらいたいのだがーーー三浦事件は拘留前からさわぎになっていたのであれば別ーーー、まあ、ちょっとググってみると、

一番古いので今月の１６日、もっと古いケースで心当たりあるかいな？
ケースがないんじゃ、比較しようがないべ？

２５日午後１０時半ごろ、関西国際空港の入国審査場の別室で、審査を拒否したベルギー国籍の男性（５５）が逃げようとしたため、大阪府警関西空港署員ら数人が取り押さえた。男性は暴れていたが、突然ぐったりして動かなくなり、搬送された病院で死亡が確認された。
同署によると、男性は午後５時５０分ごろ、ガーナからドバイを経由し関空に到着。入国審査時にパスポートを提示したが入国理由がはっきりしなかったために別室に移動した。男性は飛行中に体調不良を訴え、車いすを使用していたが、突然車いすから降り、走って逃げようとしたため、署員らが取り押さえた。
男性に同伴者はなく、審査中は歩いたり走ったりしていたという。持ち物に不審な点はなかった。同署が死因を調べている。

Imagine the public and media outcry if it was a Japanese national dying while in custody overseas. Double standards plain and simple again.
海外で日本人が拘留中に死んだら、公衆もメディアも大騒ぎだぞ。

NEW BEDFORD ― New Bedford police and the Bristol district attorney’s office are investigating the death of a man who died while handcuffed in police custody.
Authorities say police responded to a city gas station at about 4 a.m. Thursday to reports of a man acting erratically.
When police arrived, the 42-year-old New Bedford man was handcuffed while officers waited for a transport van. During the wait, the man, whose name was not released, lost consciousness. An officer performed CPR until an ambulance arrived to take the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

SASKATOON ― Saskatoon's chief of police has ordered a review of the way his force handles unco-operative ― but possibly seriously ill or injured ― people who are arrested, after a man who refused medical treatment died Friday morning in police custody.
He is the second person to die in the custody of Saskatoon police this month.
"As a police service, we have to deal with incidents like this hundreds of times a year and when people don't want to get medical treatment, we can't force them," Chief Clive Weighill told reporters Friday

Police are investigating the beating of a Florida man that occurred in downtown Hoboken Sunday morning and have one person in custody they say is responsible for the assault that appears to be racially motivated.
Charles Lee, 23, of Bayonne was arrested after an eyewitness to the beating told police that a front seat passenger inside the car of the assailant was riding in yelled racial comments at the victim regarding his Asian ethnicity.
Another witness told police that he saw who struck the man and even got a look at the license plate number of the vehicle the alleged assailant was riding in, The Jersey Journal reported. A DMV search showed that the car was registered to a 25-year-old woman in Bayonne.

Investigation under way in death of man following his arrest

PASCAGOULA ― The criminal investigation division at the Pascagoula Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office are investigating the death of a man who died shortly after he was taken into custody following a report of a fight at the U.S. 90 Waffle House, according to Pascagoula Police Lt. Davy Davis.
Police said Brian Connely Jr., 34, of Moss Point, was handcuffed when he appeared to lose consciousness and fell to the pavement outside the business shortly after 8 a.m. today.
Police officers, Davis said, called Acadian Ambulance and the Pascagoula Fire Department to the scene to treat Connely. Connely was then taken to Singing River Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:15 a.m.
