もうひとつ、お祈りをご紹介。



主よ、私をあなたの平和の道具にしてください。
憎しみのあるところに愛をもたらす人に、
争いのあるところに許しを、疑いあるところに信仰を、
絶望あるところに希望を、闇あるところに光を、
悲しみのあるところに喜びをもたらす人にして下さい。
主よ、慰められるよりも慰めることを、
理解されることよりも理解することを、
愛されるよりも愛することを求めることができますように。
私たちは、人に与えることによって多くを受け、
許すときに許されるのですから




Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon:
where there is doubt, faith ;
where there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy
O divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
