On Dec. 19, the intra-LDP lawmakers group "the Conference to Japan's Dignity and National Interest" (JDI) held a meeting over the issue that Chinese policy deploys "overseas police stations" in foreign countries including Japan.
When it comes to "overseas police stations," it's pointed out that the Chinese authorities are using it to monitor Chinese dissidents abroad, and it could infringe on Japan's sovereignty.
An executive of the National Security Secretariat (SNN) said that "It's necessary to grasp the evidence to see whether or not there are any behaviors actions close to the exercise of public authority, such as arrests and detentions (in Japan)."

UH lawmaker Shigeharu Aoyama (LDP), representativeof the JDI, revealed the remark by the NSS executive.
Regarding the "overseas police stations" of the Chinese police, a Spanish human rights NGO (non-governmental organization) pointed out that it's used by the Chinese authorities as bases to force Chinese living abroad engaged in anti-regime activities to return home via threats to their families in China, etc.
According to the NGO, there are 102 police stations in 53 countries, and it has bases in Tokyo ad Aichi prefectures too.

It's an infringement of sovereignty to set up a branch office of the police in a foreign country to carry out investigations and crackdowns without the consent of the establishment-country. A dozen countries, including Europe, therefore have launched investigations of the reality.
Prof. Yang Haiying (* aka Akira Ohno) at Shizuoka University -- an Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region native, who has protested to the practical assimilation policy by the Chinese authorities -- appealed a the meeting on Dec. 19 that "I request (Tokyo) to crack down it ASAP."
