Labor unions are included in the organizations that the opposition parties say "ban donations from companies and organizations."
What labor unions provide them are not only money.
They offer their labor force itself to politicians.
Every and each ordinary person has to make a living. We therefore have a hard time in finding persons who volunterily to help with political activities.
However, it has been normalized for politicians who are backed by labor unions to receive support in this way.

On June 23, FM Kamikawa Yoko held a meeting with members of Okinawa's economic organization(s) in Naha City, and exchanged views on measures to reduce the base-burden, such as the early return of U.S. military facilities.
She was requested cooperation by person(s) concerned in order for use of sites after the return, and replied that "I would like to cooperate with the Cabinet Office and consider what kind of responses are possible."

On June 23, mass media reported that Seoul fixed personnel affairs to appoint Park Cheol-hee, chancellor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy affiliated with the Foreign Ministry as the next ambassador to Japan.
He will succeed current ambassador Yun Duk-min and be the 2nd ambassador to Japan since the Yoon Suk-yeol administration took office.
Park has served as professor at Seoul National University and a specially appointed professor at the University of Tokyo, as well as a visiting professor at Keio University and Kobe University.
He is known as a scholar familiar with Japan and is fluent in Japanese language.
