Fish

　One of our relatives presented us these fish today.

He retired from his job recently, so he has much time.
Now fishing becomes one of his hobbies.
He sometimes go fishing to the sea near his house with his wife.


Today he caught many fish and he brought us part of them.
In spring, he gave us lots of little-neck clams.

As soon as he left my house, my husband and Shizusan cleaned them.
Next, I deep-fried them to make tempura.
At the same time, I also grilled a few big fish.


As they were so fresh, they were so tasty !!

After typhoon no.14 has passed away, the sky is so clear.   Pomegranate    Many fruits of this pomegranate tree are ripening .

We tend to love beautiful and nice things to see.
But they are not always valuable.
So we should train our eyes to tell real things from imitations.

Typhoon no.14

It was rainy all day.

A very big and strong typhoon no.14 is coming to Japan island.
It'll hit us around tomorrow evening.
The typhoon will bring much rain and strong wind.
I hope it won't bring much damage like a hurricane;'Katrina' that attacked southern U.S.A about a week ago.

We should be careful !!

Pokeweed

I hadn't known the name of this plant for a long time.

But I happened to know its name at another goo's blog yesterday.
The name of this plant is 'Pokeweed';(Yo-u-syu Ya-ma-go-bo-u).

It looks like grape but we can't eat it, as it tastes bitter and its root is poisonous.

Traffic control signal

I took a walk in the evening for about forty minutes as usual.

I make it a rule to walk on Saturday, once a week.
While walking, I see various things and sometimes take pictures.
 
This traffic signal is one of them.
It isn't rare at all, but this is the only signal in our district because I live in a country.

Therefore, this signal is unusual for us.
