Boiled ｋumquatｓ

These are boiled kumquats;(ki-n-ka-n).

My friend gave me this bottle of kumquats.

I'll show you how to make it. (I learned it from her.)

1. They are boiled with water.
2. We washed them with cold water,taking off the seeds.
3. They are boiled with clear liquor; (shochu).
4. We put sugar or honey into it.
5. They are boiled about half an hour or so.

They are good to eat and when we have a sore throat, it will be efficacious.
