My husband attended a funeral service yesterday.

He was given a leaflet and I took some pictures of it.

"A funeral ceremony is not only for farewell but the place for praying for the persons happiness after death."

"The sutra is not only for the Buddhist knowledge and a manual of a life-style and how to die but for the pray for a person who passed away.

Buddhist scriptures will be a guideline of a right life-style for the person who lives, and and makes people who passed away relieved and  happy.

By praying a sutra, we can tell Budda's concern and prayer."

I attend a sutra transcription meeting once a month and raise some sutras there.

I always think about the meaning of them.

But reading this leaflet, I was relieved a little.

I went to a temple called Kokusyouji to see Camellia in the afternoon.　

Fallen flowers were like a red carpet.

The tree is about 300 years old and is designated as a natural monument.

It is the midst of spring and cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Petals of a cherry blossoms were dancing like snow.

We usually have men of  "Senior human resource center" prune our trees in the garden in November. 

They didn't come to my house Last year.

I had forgotten to apply there in April, so I called there in December.

And they came to my house yesterday.

It was fine and windless though it was a cold day.

Pruning in the cold and windy day is a hard work, so I was relieved.

My Japanese garden became clean and beautiful !

She is running a pharmacy for about 3 years and is a leader of a group.

Members of the group also have various business.

They are planning to make the business better.

About a year has passed since I came to this house.

I want to go outside, but I have no chances to do so.

There are bushes and rice fields around my house, and I can see grasshopper, frogs and some other insects.

I can open the net screen but my owner locks it, so I can't go out.

My owner hates ticks and fleas sticking my body.

But I'm very happy as they love me very much.
