キルト

最近、ちょっとお気に入りの手芸屋があって。

Recently,
I found a very good store which sells
various goods for handicrafts such as
buttons, materials, threads, fasteners
and everything.

この前、時間があったから、生地、見てた。
夏っぽく，可愛いのがあって、
５０cmでもいいから、何種類か買って
おこうかな？と思った。

I found materials with different patterns printed,
which I thought very cute
for quilting.

でも、今、キルト用とか、判子のノベルティー
用に作るキルトの為の布は、結構あるから
「また、今度にしよう」と思った。

But I didn't because I already have
a plenty at home. I thought "maybe next time".

そして、今日、また、そのお店の近くに
行ったから見てみたら、可愛いと思ってた
生地は、なかった。

やっぱり季節の変わり目だからか？
結構、品揃えも、ラインナップ変ってた。

Today I dropped by the store on the way
back from school, but my favorite materials
were gone. I mean they changed the
line because Summer has gone.


今度こそ、これは！と思った生地と
出逢ったら、買おう。

I regretted a little bit.
I won't miss the next chance.


いい季節になってきたし、時間作って
また、チクチクしようっと。

Autumn has come and
it makes me feel like quilting something.

私の夢は、いつか、東京のどこかで
格闘カフェを開くこと

My biggest dream as a MMA fan
is to open and manage a MMA cafe
somewhere in Tokyo.


スクリーンがあって、そこに格闘技の試合を映す

I hang a big screen and
we all enjoy MMA events.

家にケーブルTVが無い人や
あっても、たくさんで楽しみたい人は
そこに来てもらって、飲み物や食べ物を
楽しみながら見れる

For those who do not have cable at home,
and also for those who want to enjoy the fights
with many others even tho they have.
They can enjoy food and drink too.

試合が別にない日も
リクエストしてくれれば、映す

I get request to play any fights
when there is not an event.

そのお店では色々なイベントがあり
私もたまに歌う

I produce various events there
and I also sing sometimes.

他にも色々アイデアはあるけど、まだ内緒

I have many more good ideas, but
I do not want to write here.

格闘家を応援するお店
やりたい

I want to run a place
to support fighters.


私のガンボとミルクティーもある

I will serve my gumbo and milk tea there.



昨日も今日も、アイスラテ作った
今日の方が美味しく作れた

I made ice cafe latte for myself yesterday and also today.
I could do it better today.


いつ、夢を叶えられることやら？

I wonder if I could make my dream come true.

ゆうべは、蚊が一匹いて、また、たくさん噛まれた
蚊に噛まれても、バンドエイドか、テープを貼ると全く痒くなくなる
何度も目覚めて、バンドエイド貼りまくり


そのせいで、ちょっと寝不足


今日はお昼、１人レッスンしました
一緒に頑張ろうね


家に向かって、最寄り駅の近くの焼き肉屋の
ランチタイムは５時まで
結構リーズナブルな値段で美味しい定食が
食べられる

いつも、カルビ定食だぁ



そして、本を読もうと思って近くのカフェへ
すると、右の足の親指のペディキュアが
ストーンがたくさんあったところが
ごっそり、取れちゃってた

長持ちしたけど、これで夏も終わりかな


でも、まだ、もう少しトングはくから
グリッターのネイルエナメル買った
ホログラム入りで、ギラギラ光る


mixi newsを見ていたら
「キレた７３歳が、市役所で暴れ回る」
みたいな記事を見つけた。

それがなにか？と思っちゃった。

母は今年７３歳になるが
彼女が本気でキレたら、市役所は
大変なことになる。

人間は年ではないのだ。

モテる男の・・・

ゆうべ、女性ジャズメン・ちゃんこ会（さがゆき、会田桃、高樹レイ、CHAKA）で、酔っぱらった高樹レイ女史に「ちょうだい」とねだられて
あと、５日分位しか残っていない愛用香水をあげちゃったので
今日は、その新品を開封

Last night, I had a very good Chanko nabe with some
female jazz musicians I got to know on Twitter:
Yuki Saga, Momo Aida and Rei Takagi.

They all got drunk and Rei pleaded me for my perfume.
It was almost empty. Only a few left in a bottle.
She will use up in four or five days.

いつの間にか自分の定番になったサンフラワーズ
（真似しちゃ駄目だよ～～～）

I don't remember how I had started wearing this,
this has been "My perfume" for a long time.
(please do not wear it. )



値段も手頃で、30mlボトルを買うから携帯にもOKだし
パッケージも可愛い

もう何本リピートしたか、数えてない

I don't remember how many bottles I have used up
and repeated. A reasonable price, portable and
the package is very cute.



お昼、大学で、私のレッスンを希望してくれた
生徒さんたちと、レッスンの時間割を決めて
（みんな、後期もがんばろ～ね！
　んで、新規でレッスン希望してくれた
　生徒さんたち、ありがとう！）

I had a guidance at college with my students
and decided the class schedules.



で、ランチ

I had spaghetti pescatore for lunch.


それから英語レッスンへ
先生は、とても明るくフランクな女性
楽しい時間が過ぎて

Then I headed to Kunitachi to have
an English lesson. My teacher is a very
happy and open-minded woman.
I had a very good time as usual with her.


その後、マイミク：大熊猫さんとお茶
色々なお話をうかがって、楽しかった

Then I met up with my mixi friend: Panda-san
and chatted about various things over a
cup of coffee.


タイトルは、半分、つり、ですね
（つられちゃった人、ごめんね）

The title of this diary is intriguing.

帰宅後、久々に、ちゃんと湯船につかって
ゆっくりお風呂に入った

I had a bath, not just a shower, and relaxed
after I came home.

ファンの方に頂いた、入浴剤を入れたよ

Today I used a pack of bath salts
I got from my fan.


モテる男になれるかどうか
わかんないけど(;^_^A
香りはとてもよかった、です
お薦め！


I don't know if I could be a popular guy,
but I love the smell of it.

１８日高円寺＠JIROKICHIにて

今月１８日に、高円寺のJIROKICHIで
Free funkというご機嫌なバンドのゲストとして
出演させて頂くことになりました

先日、そのリハーサル！

久々に、私のアイドル
ラリー・グラハム率いる
Graham Central Stationの曲を
３曲と、あと１曲別のファンクナンバーを
リハーサル

３つのグループが出ますが
最後にはSlyの曲をやるよ！

お昼、レッスン１人
とても素敵なジャズを歌う女の子
私は彼女の歌が好きだ
大活躍して、人気者になって欲しい

I gave a private lesson to a young student.
She sings very good. I like her singing.
I hope she will become popular.




百合を見て、叔父を想い出した。
私には何人も叔父がいるけど
その叔父は、可愛くおっちょこちょい。

赤く咲くのは百合の花～～～って歌っちゃう
（そりゃ、赤っぽい種類の百合もあるけどさ）
でも、そう歌っちゃったら、次どうするのさ？
し～～ろく咲くのは、百合の花～～～って、
そこで始めて「あ！間違えた」って気付くの

その叔父は、
黄色いさくらんぼ、の歌を
「あ、黄色い、赤とんぼ～～」って歌っちゃうの

可愛い

This beautiful white lily reminded me of one of
my uncles. I have many uncles and he is the
cutest and funniest of all.

He sang an old popular Enka song
"Yume wa yoru hiraku" like this

"Akaku sakunowa yuri no hana"
(literally lilies are red)
but it is a big mistake,
because some lilies are red,
but the real lyrics go like
"Akaku sakunowa keshi no hana".
(literally poppies are red)

but he never noticed that
and kept on singing

"Shiroku sakunowa yuri no hana"
(literally lilies are white.)
This is correct.

He never noticed that he was singing wrong lyrics
he made up until he sang next phrase
"shiroku saku nowa yuri nohana".

so Funny.

This funny and cute uncle also sang
"kiiroi Akatonbo".
(red-dragon fly is yellow)

ha ha ha.

He must sing as
"kiiroi sakuranbo".
(these cherries are yellow,
which means someone
very young and unsophisticated)

ha ha ha.


帰り道、獣医さんに寄って
ピピンのフードを一袋購入

On the way back from the lesson,
I went to see the vet and bought
a bag of cat food for Pippin.

夜は、後輩シンガーの河野美紀ちゃんのライブを
聴きに吉祥寺のSOMETIMEへ

I went to see my Kohai (younger ) friend
Miki Kawano's concert at Sometime, Kichijoji

座って誰かの演奏を聴くのは
変な感じ

It felt very strange to sit and listen to
someone performing.


もう１人の後輩シンガーの黒澤綾ちゃんも
来て、一緒に見たよ

Another Kohai singer Aya Kurosawa showed up
and we enjoyed the music together.

今日は、友人の格闘家のサプライズ結婚パーティーに
呼んで頂きました

彼の道場のみなさんが、２人の為に一生懸命企画し、そして
一生懸命バレない様にみんなで「騙して」(*^_^*)
今日まで内緒にしていました


会場の、イタリアン・レストランには
２人の門出を祝う、仲間たちでいっぱい

私は、歌を１曲歌わせて頂きました


色々なファイターや、元ファイター、過去
新郎と同じ道場にいた人などがたくさん



私は、大好きな村田卓実さんと少しお話し出来たことと
帰りに、あの戸井田カツヤさんが歌のことを
誉めてくれたことと
選手のマウスピースで有名な、歯科医の田中先生が
名刺を下さったことが、予想もしていなかったこと
だし、とても嬉しかったです





おめでとうございます！
どうか、末永くお幸せに～～～








I attended the surprise "wedding" party for my friend fighter
tonight.

I was delighted to be invited.

All the fighters in his gym planned the party
and kept it secret with all their might.


The Italian restaurant was filled with
his friends celebrating their start of the new life.



I sang "Over the Rainbow" a capella.



Many fighters, retired fighters,
and the guys who used to be training with the bridegroom.
They all managed their schedules for the party.



I was happy
to have a chance to talk to my favorite fighter
Takuya Murata.

and to hear
that famous Katsuya Toida said
"thank you for the great singing".
Wow!

and I was also happy that famous
dentist Dr. Tanaka came up to me
and gave me his name card.

今日は、10月3日のパンクラスのチケットを買いに
P's Lab 横浜に行ってきました～


金井一朗選手、鳥生将大選手、伊藤嵩文選手、川村亮選手、
渡辺大介選手、北岡悟選手もトレーニングしていらっしゃい
ました。


９月５日には、鳥生選手、川村選手、そしてWindy智美さんも
出場されるのですが、私が仕事で行けないのが、とても残念
です。


私が到着すると、PSY・SのCDを流して下さっていて
ismの皆様の真心、ありがとうございます


帰りは馬車道から帰ろうと思って、途中、タリーズに
「来ない？」とつぶやいたら、みな、忙しかったり
遠方の人だったり


やっぱり、急には無理だよね、と思って、さぁ
お腹すいたし、お気に入りの中華料理屋へ
行ったら、ランチは終わり、ディナーまでお休みだったので
諦めて、駅へ


すると、その頃に、少し遅れて「行きます」と言ってくれた
方がいたので、改札まで行ってたけど
申し訳ないからタリーズへ戻った
でも、その方はいらっしゃらなかった

何か事故とかじゃなければいいんだけどなと思った
３時半まで待って、それから自由が丘へ。

帰りは自由が丘で、友達と会って
大戸屋へ行った。自由が丘の大戸屋は
注文はテーブルで、支払いは後払い。

twitterで、私のfollower（歌手）が
尊敬する尾田悟さんが私のことを
大変に誉めて下さっていたことを
伝えてくれて、泣いてしまった

「ジャズなら、CHAKAさんを
　目指さなきゃ」と。

一昨日、めそめそしていた自分が
恥ずかしかった





I visited P's Lab Yokohama to get a ticket of
Pancrase on October 3rd.


I was happy to see many great fighters such as
Ichiro Kanai, Masahiro Toryu, Takafumi Ito,
Ryo Kawamuwa, Daisuke Watanabe and Satoru
Kitaoka...


Masahiro Toryu, Ryo Kawamura and Windy Tomomi
will fight at Pancrase on this coming Sunday, but
I can't go because of the rehearsal. I am so
disappointed.


They played one of my songs I sang in PSY・S
when I arrived. Thank you very much.


I walked to Bashamichi to take the Toyoko Line on
the way back. I dropped in Tully's on Bashamichi
street. I tweeted "does anyone want to come? I will
treat you a cup of coffee." on Twitter, but noone
could make it because everybody was busy or too
far.


Noone seemed to make it.
OK.
I found that I was hungry, so I decided to go
to my favorite Chinese restaurant about two
blocks away.

The Chinese place was close.
The lunchtime was over and they were close
until the dinnertime.
OK...I see.

I gave up on my favorite Curry flavored fried pork,
（damn good! you must try!)
and headed to Bashamichi station.

Then someone posted a reply to me that he would
go to Tully's. "Oh, what am I gonna do？"
I was almost at the gate, but I did not want to
make him disappointed, so I pulled back to Tully's
and waited for him.

He didn't show up.

but it's OK.
I just hoped he did not get involved in an accident
or something.

I waited until 3:30 and then I left.


I met up with my friend at Jiyugaoka
and then we went to Otoya to have
a very late lunch.

Otoya in Jiyugaoka is different from others.
We place and order to a waitress at the table
and pay when we leave.


At night, one of my followers (she is a singer) on
Twitter told me that a great saxophone player
Mr. Satoru Oda spoke highly of me as a jazz
singer.

He said to her
"You must sing like Miss Chaka if you want to sing
jazz."

It made me cry for gratitude for Mr. Oda.

I felt ashamed of myself becoming pessimistic
the day before yesterday.

Thank you. Mr. Oda.
