summer schooling

"4-day summer schooling" at college is over.

大学での４日間の夏期講習会、終了。



I gave voice lessons to 6 students on the first day
and I was the emcee of the concert today.

初日、６人の生徒さんにレッスンをし
今日、コンサートの司会をしました。



I am glad to have met many young and enthusiastic musicians.

熱心な若いミュージシャンに会えて嬉しいです。




They had various types of lessons for the three days
and today, they played at the concert to show how much
they improved.

みんなは３日間で色々なレッスンを受け
今日、どれぐらい上手くなったか発表の為の
コンサートをやりました



Two of them want to continue taking my lessons.

そのうちの二人が私のレッスンを続けて
取りたいと言ってくれました。



I was kinda fascinated by how they improved in the 4 days.

４日間で彼らがうまくなっていくのを見て
ちょっと感動


They are so quick to learn. I think because they are
full of hope for the future.


覚えるのも早い。きっと、未来への希望に
溢れているから、だね。

明日の記憶

「明日の記憶」という映画を見たよ

I watched a movie "Ashita No Kioku".


主人公は、私と同い年のサラリーマンで
アルツハイマーで苦しんでいる

The hero in this movie is a business man
who is the same age as I am.

He is suffering from Alzheimer disease.


派手な映画じゃないけど、とても良かった

This is not a gorgeous type of movie,
but it is impressive.


どの家族にも素晴しい歴史があるね

Every family has its great history.



渡辺謙さんが、どうして、「さゆり」の撮影中で
ハリウッドだったのに、原作者に手紙を書いて
映画化をお願いしたのか、わかる気がした。

I understand why Ken Watanabe wrote a letter
to the author of the original novel and asked him
to make it into a movie directly, even though
he was in the middle of shooting "sayuri"
in Hollywood.

Though I didn't know what it was about,

アバターの後、エクソシスト・ディレクターズ・カットにしようと
思ったけど、１人でホラー観る勇気ないから、熊のプーさんにした。

After I saw AVATAR, I was going to watch Exorcist Director's Cut,
but I was too timid to watch it alone. So I decided on "Winnie The Pooh"
instead.

声なき言葉

Recently, I talk to this tree.

最近、この木と話しています。






Whenever I go to work, to school, to an English lesson
or to meet my friends, it seems like this tree with beautiful
white blossom says "itte rasshai, have a good day" to me
without words.


いつも、仕事へ行く時、学校や、英語レッスンに行く時や、また友達と
会いに行く度、この綺麗な白い花が「行ってらっしゃい」って
言葉も無く言ってくれてる感じがする。


and whenever I come back, seems like I hear it says
"okaeri, chaka. welcome back".

で、帰って来ると「お帰り、チャカ」って言ってくれてる気が。

On each big toe, I have teal color with
many rhinestones in different hues.


私の担当の西澤さんという可愛い女性が
ストーンでキラキラにしてくれた

My nail artist Nishizawa-san (a pretty woman)
glittered my nails with beautiful stones.
Yeah!


残りの指にはもう少し薄めの色
and on the rest, I have a bit lighter color.




足がきれいだと誉められた

She said that my feet are beautiful.

昨日買ったドレスを着てでかけた

Today, I went out in the summer dress which I had bought yesterday.



渋谷へ向かう前に、近所のネイルサロンで予約を入れて

I dropped by the nail salon near my house and made a reservation
before I headed to Shibuya.




そして、友達と会って、２～３時間ぶらぶらしながら
買い物した

I met up with my friend and hang around for a couple of hours
doing some shopping.




今日の空はなんだかミステリアスな感じ

The sky looked mysterious today.




買い物の後、最寄りの駅に着いたら
雨が降り始めてて、いそいで帰った

It was beginning to rain when I arrived at my nearest station after shopping,
so I hurried home.

今日は、美容院に行って

買った

I went to my hair salon this afternoon.
I found a cute summer dress on the way back.
I bought it.

渋谷の109で、４年ほど前、かな？
一目見て、可愛いなと思った

About 4 years ago.
I found it at a boutique in 109 Shibuya.
I fell in love with this at the first sight.


やっぱり、欲しいと思って
次の日行ったら、まだあった
良かった

I didn't buy it at that time
but I could not give up on it.
So I returned to the boutique
the next day.

I was lucky no one bought it.



ブラウン、赤紫（フューシャ）、オレンジ、
青緑、という好きな組み合わせ

I love the combination of
