TPPは日米関係にプラス、靖国参拝は何の得にもならず＝米議員団
議員たちは安倍首相の参拝への批判を手控えるつもりはなさそうだった。議員たちは19日午後、同首相と会見する予定になっていた。
センセンブレナー議員は「靖国参拝がnot helpful(何の得にもならない）と言う同僚議員たちに賛成だ」と述べた。同議員は「これ（靖国参拝）が日本の総理大臣に勧められるべき行動だと考える人は、米国では皆無だと思う」と語った。

But the visiting Americans didn’t seem shy about continuing to criticize the move by the prime minister, whom they were scheduled to meet later in the day.
“I would concur with my colleagues in saying that the Yasukuni Shrine visit was not helpful,” Mr. Sensenbrenner summed up. “I don’t think there’s anybody in the United States that thought that this was something that was advisable for the prime minister of Japan to do.”
