Why I Love Living in Japan. Part One.

The Four Distinct Seasons:
Being an Irish girl, I am used to rain, rain and more rain with the odd day of sunshine and snow thrown in too. It is also possible for all three to occur on the same day, I do not like unpredictability. I mean, how is a girl supposed to choose what to wear?! For that reason, I love the weather in Japan, there is no messing about. In the Summer it is hot and in the Winter it is cold, the Spring is beautifully crisp and yes there is a rainy season and a typhoon season, but you know when it will occur. Cherry blossoms in the Spring and the beautiful golden leaves in the Autumn are by far my favourite times of year.

Do you have four season ?と聞く日本人がなぜか多いという。なぜか、わからないが、そうした問いを奇異に思う外国人も多いようだ。

 Distinct Seasonsーーーはっきりとした四季があるか、と聞けば、多少意味をなすのだろうか?
