But nobody, including the police, confirmed the attack against the girl yet. It might or might not have happened. It is still under investigation. But it is likely one of the bullies was a child. The original article on the conservative newspaper didn't mention the fact. And The person who is anti-anti-U.S. base used this story to make it look as if the bullies were a group of adult men opposed to U.S. force. The original article is most likely demagogue, the article I quoted above claims.

嘉手納警察署は本サイトの電話取材に対して、こう回答した。
「この女児の母親による相談があったのは事実です。しかし、今日の時点（4月7日）ではまだ暴行の事実は確認できていません。現在、事実関係を調査中ということです」（担当者）
女児の母親が直接投稿したものは確認できなかったが、その友人らしき人物が、「是非シェアして広めて欲しい」「ここから下が、友だちの投稿のコピー」としてこのような投稿を行なっていた。

沖縄県読谷村で起きたとみられるハーフの女児への暴行、暴言の案件についての真相はわからない。だが、伝言リレーで成立したデマの過程をまざまざと見せつけられた筆者は、戦慄すら覚えた。
