They all have them.
Why can’t the good guys have them to protect themselves?

北朝鮮や中国、パキスタン、ロシアなど、悪玉が核武装しているのに、なぜ、善玉が核武装できないのか？
できないのはおかしいじゃないか？と。
その理由の一つとしては、やはり、米国が韓国・日本などを米国に依存させておきたい、というのが大きいだろう。この点、宗主国が植民地を当該国家に依存させることによって従属させていたのと同様な植民地主義のあらわれ、と言われてもしょうがないだろう。
英語圏で活躍する日本人記者もこうした意見を海外の雑誌・新聞で紹介すればいいと思うが、しかし、そうすると、宗主国の有色人お飾り記者ではなくなり、裏切り者として２度と採用されなくなるのかもしれない。
核武装国は、本気で、世界から核廃絶しようとしているのだ、オバマや国連事務総長を広島に連れてくれば核廃絶も近づくのだ、というおとぎ話を一部の日本人はいつまで信仰できるか？

議会による独立宣言は国際法違反ではないが、しかし、国家として、多くの国が認めなければ、独立国家としては認められない、という。
日本や米国、欧州は認めているが、ロシア、中国などは認めていない。
さらに、分離独立の運動がある世界にとって波紋は大きい、とも言われる。

A US federal judge has ruled that intelligence agencies may suppress information about torture tapes, memos and nearly any other intelligence gathering measures, even if they are illegal.

こちらもロシアトゥデイの報道で、アメリカでは、拷問も合法だし、そうした法を法の支配に反して立法したり、アメリカの主要報道機関は現状維持したいだけであり、国民は真実を知らされていない、というアメリカの評論家の意見を紹介している。
こうした意見は全く嘘というわけではないが、しかし、わりに極端な意見の部類に属するのであろう。
ロシア系の報道機関が米国政府にもっとも手厳しい評論家を選択している、というのは理解できる。
第３者的にいえば、いろんな意見が聞けてよいし、その意義を否定するつもりはないが、”敵国”ロシアとしても、こうしてアメリカを激烈に批判してくれるアメリカ人は、国家戦略の観点から言ってもロシアに有利であり、いかに一般のアメリカ人が”洗脳”されているかを暗示して楽しいだろう。
日本の場合には同盟国によってそうした批判にさらされている、ところが、・・・誠にありがたいところである。
さて、日本のジャーナリズムも政府公報に堕しているのでは、というのが、次の記事。

今月１１日投開票の参院選比例代表に「たちあがれ日本」から立候補し、落選した拓殖大客員教授の藤井厳喜氏（５７）をインターネット掲示板「２ちゃんねる」で誹謗中傷する書き込みをしたとして、警視庁小岩署は２３日、名誉毀損の疑いで、北海道大学理学部４年生、畠山育人容疑者（２３）＝札幌市北区北十三条西＝を逮捕した。
英語圏のブログでも実在する日本人私人の名前をネットで公開して、言論の正当な批判を超えて誹謗中傷するものがあるが、公開された本人も勇気を出して告訴してはどうだろうか？
こうしたブログを称賛する海外特派員や一部在日外国人がいるのが日本の不幸な現実である。

Ah, celebrity endorsements. Where would the world be without them? From perfumes to sports cars and credit card brands, celebrities have done’em all, sometimes with hilarious outcomes. And it looks like Microsoft has jumped straight on the bandwagon – at least in Japan, where people have got bandwagonity down to an art. First, there was an add featuring a popular comedy duo and aiming to clear all possible misunderstandings about Microsoft Office. (It went something like this: “I thought you could only run MSO on one computer?” “Wrong!” “But I don’t need MSO on my laptop?” “Wrong!”). And now, it seems that Bing has a new (and slightly creepy) cover girl.
Now, when I registered my MSN, I was uninspired enough to point to Japan as my default location. (And it seems I can’t change that. FML.) This means I get all these ‘cute’ adverts (sorry, PR messages, as they’re cheerfully called over there despite their overall uselessness, obnoxiousness and whatever other -ness words one could come up with) to look at. And that’s how I ran into the add pictured below.
Side note: If anyone at all knows how to change your bloody MSN location, please let me know.

Marketing 101: Slap a cute female face on any product and it’s going to sell (or, in this case, be used) like hot bread. Or…?
I wonder how much money ms. (or mrs.?) Sakiko got paid for the add. Furthermore, I wonder if she even knows what she’s advertising for, given the fact that most ‘net surfing by young people in Japan seems to be done on cellphones and other handheld devices and there’s a stupid high amount of computer illiteracy (if my former class at TGU is anything to go by, anyway). But above all… I wonder why Microsoft couldn’t have picked a slightly less creepy girl for the add. No, really. It’s not just me saying it. The fans are saying it, too. For the luva’ pancake, somebody get the poor girl some braces, stat.
“But… but… but… you’re so mean!”
Well aware of it, thank you. It goes with the full-time job of being a Microsoft hater. And, on a lesser extent, of (still) being ticked off about that one place that thrashed the better part of my last three years.
