Sports Medicineローテーション

バカンスから戻ってみると、アナーバーはフロリダと同じ気候に変わっていました

連日の20℃越えによろこびつつも

わざわざフロリダまで行っていたので、複雑な気分です

さて、今月はSports Medicineローテーションです

Sports Medicineは、家庭医のsupspecialityのなかで

ACGMEが認定しているものの一つで

ミシガン大のsports medicine fellowshipも、比較的評判の良いプログラムのようです

レジデントのローテーションは基本外来です

１週間のスケジュールは

半日を１コマとして

• sports medicineのアテンディングとの外来が３コマ（３カ所のサイトで別々の先生につきます）
• PM&R(Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)外来１コマ
• リハビリ１コマ
• 放射線科読影１コマ
• カンファレンス１コマ
• 自分の外来2コマ
• 栄養指導１コマ（なぜかsports medicineローテに含まれています）

Sports medicineはあまり良い教科書が無いようで

Physical examination of the spine and extremitiesを購入しましたが



あまり使っていません

プログラムで開発した上質のlearning moduleが下記のトピックでありますので

それを毎日みています

それぞれ、pre-test、身体診察のビデオ、鑑別診断の解説、post-testで構成されており

卒業後も是非利用させてほしいほどの出来です(残念ながらlog inが必要な職員限定ですのでブログには載せられません)

他にはrequired readingがありますが、公開されている総説論文が中心ですので載せても問題ないでしょう
