〇Fishing
I woke up again today around 2:50 in the morning.
I was listening to amateur radio for about 30 minutes.
There was a 5UA99WS station operating on 14MHz, but unfortunately, I couldn't hear the main station.
I left the house at 3:20 and started fishing around 3:40.
At first, I couldn't catch anything, but I could tell that small fish were nibbling at the sabiki hooks.
I was wondering what it was when I finally caught some Japanese anchovies.
The sensation was different from horse mackerel; I realized it was baitfish.
After that, I started catching fish.
I caught Japanese horse mackerel over 30cm long.
When I looked at their skin, I could see marks from larger fish attacking them, but I couldn't see the big fish itself.
After that, the bites stopped. I switched from a jig sabiki to a worm, and just like yesterday, I caught a flathead.
It's my second flathead of the year.
Yesterday, I tried boiling the flathead from yesterday's catch in a pressure cooker. It had a chewy texture.
As I was leaving, I checked if Mr. I was there, and he was. We exchanged information and traded some Japanese horse mackerel and flathead.
Thank you, Mr. I.
Since there are plenty of baitfish, I'm going to go fishing again in the afternoon, aiming for larger fish.
