先日の投稿に書いたら、久々に見たくなってしまいました。Wayne's World。

Wayne's WorldとWayne's World2は人生で一番繰り返し見た映画だと思う。
なんども繰り返し見た理由は、聞き取れなかったから。最初はジョークもよくわからなかったです。

やっぱり今でもDelの発音は聞き取りにくい。他の人の英語はとてもクリアなので、やっぱりイギリス英語のせいなんだなー。

Wayne's Worldの凄さは2もちゃんと面白いところ。Godfather並み。

シンガポールでマルチリージョンDVDプレイヤーを手に入れて、秋葉原で変換プラグを買って、DVDをアメリカで買って。
今は便利な時代になったものの。YouTubeの広告がうざすぎるー。ad blocker効かないー。

Twindemicという新語が出てきました。日本でもすぐに流行りそうですが。

聞き取りを間違いそうな単語を発見。

おそらく今までもよく耳にしていたはずですが、beleivedと取り違えていたんじゃないかなと思います。
発音を注意して比較すると微妙に違いますが。よく似てますー。
辞書の文例ではtoが後についているものがないですが、toを使うものなのかな？
こういうときに頼りになったのが例文の多かったLEXCOなのですが。返す返す残念。

CPRはcardiopulmonary resuscitationみたいです。defibrillationの日本語も覚えられそうもないですが。まあそういう系統ということで。
