品詞の変化

mortaliseはCollinsでは出てくるけどOxfordは出てこない。ほとんど使われないと思われる。

新聞アプリも見てない。唯一ウェザーニュースのアプリだけ見てます。天気以外は日本のことは知らない。
Rupert一家の出国がダメ押しになって吹っ切れました。もう日本の時事は知らなくてもいい。

ここ数日ブログ投稿が多いのは、他の重要なやらなくてはいけないことからの逃避だったりする。
理由はなんであれ、このまま日本語Twitter・YouTube・記事を見ない習慣がつけばいいのですが。まだまだ予断を許さない感じ。

Having thousands of followers could possibly lead to offers of work and enhance their image as a desirable commodity.

Although it's not illegal to sell followers, and it can be an effective marketing tool, somehow it feels wrong.

酷い悪筆のため、問題集に書き込んだり、ノートに書き写すと、再読・復習不可能になるため、Macを使うことにしました。
三日坊主を防ぐため、ブログで進捗も管理します。
...と書いてみて、Use of Japaneseがそもそもダメ。「悪筆」の前に来る形容詞が全然出てこない。

今年のアクションプラン

ブログタイトルを変えるとかブログを閉鎖するとかのちっちゃい制約設定以外にも考えないと。

このブログを始めてからFCEを受験して合格したし。（←唯一のachievement）
何と言ってもIELTSを受験してイギリスに住んで仕事もしたし。
CAEに合格してもイギリスで働くとかそういうのがついてこなかったら意味ないし。（←開き直り）
日本に帰ってからは旅行にもいかず（秘密ワーケーションはしたけど）たくさんお金稼いだ。（←論点すり替え）

ということで「英語の勉強」以外は割と順調だったんですよねー。

海外に行きたい、お金を稼ぎたい、という欲求もなくなったので、今年はいよいよ「英語の勉強」を目標にします。
パーソナルトレーニングと同様、決まった曜日・時間に勉強時間を設定します。自力でできなかったら学校にお金払います。

コロナで家に引きこもって日本語時事YouTube視聴とかの癖がついてしまったので、直さないといけない。
日本語時事番組、勉強になるんですけどね。。でも我慢。日本語Twitterも見ない。ラジオも聞かない。
日本語ニュースは、日経新聞と東京新聞と朝日新聞のアプリの無料で見られる見出しだけにする。

日本の政治や社会を知っても失望しかない。筋トレして体力をつけたほうがいい。
経済金融系は聞きたい気もするがどうせ投資では稼げない。英語のほうが稼げる。

３年だけ（早ければ１年。無理だけど）我慢。
以前も同じ目標たててすぐに挫折したけれど、今回は続けられそうな気がする。

今年の目標

こんな恥ずかしいブログタイトルをつけたのに、５年以上経ってもこの状況では、さすがにまずいなと思ってきました。
小室さんにも先を越されたし。そのうち山上徹也にも抜かれてしまうかもしれない。

コロナが収束しないとはいえ、いつまでたっても受験しないというのはどうかと思います。
受験しないと合格しませんが、実際合格レベルの英語力にも到達していません。

とはいえ、いますぐ看板に偽りありなブログタイトルを変更したり、ブログを閉鎖すると、英語の勉強をしなくなりそうなので、猶予をつけてみます。

2023年中に受験しない場合は、ブログタイトルを変更
2025年中までにCAE合格しない場合は、ブログを閉鎖

コロナとかウクライナとか仕事の事情があるので、今年中にイギリスに渡航して受験というのはできるかどうかわかりませんが。

個人的な試行錯誤の記録としてはそれなりに役立つので名残惜しいんですが。
退路を絶ってという割には、あと３年も猶予をつけてしまうのはどうかと思いますが。３年後、私は一体何歳になっているんだ？？

まあもう少し本気だして勉強したいと思います。

山上徹也への妹からの差し入れの参考書が英検１級だったという記事を見て。
勉強時間はありそうですが。リスニングはどうするのかな。。

やっぱり本気の人はサイマルでした。
以前の職場では、秘書の人たちが何人か通っていましたが。
同時通訳レベルの英語がマスターできれば、一流紙の記者にも、何にでもなれるんですよね。苫米地さんもサイマル。

逆にいえば、同時通訳を目指すくらい本気で勉強しないと世界で活躍できるレベルにならないんですよね。
試し読みに出てくる本田圭佑とか。本気すぎるし。

目次を見ると今まで見てきた自己啓発本に書いてある勉強法な感じ。

試し読みでは英語学習は運動と同じみたいなことが書いてありましたが。最近始めたパーソナルトレーニングで今日はすごい筋肉痛。
パーソナルトレーニングは無理して時間を作るし、効果を実感中。
でもいまさらサイマル通いたくないなー（今はオンラインみたいですが）。どうするかなー。
