The fruits of pomegranate tree in my yard have ripened.
Now it has cracked into two or three parts and we see many red seeds in it.
The seeds are shining like rubies and beautiful to see.
They taste sweet and sour .

Fall festival in this district is being held today and tomorrow.
Children were pulling these portable shrines along the street.
In the evening, 'Shinto music dance';(Bi-chu Ka-gu-ra) is held at the shrine every year.
They dance till late at night.
And paper lanterns are set here and there along the streets and at some houses.
The one above is set at a corridor of my house.
We celebrate the festival drinking and having delicious food. 
The west side of Okayama station is now under construction.
That side has not been so prosperous for a long time.
But 'Okayama ANA Hotel' and the New hall of ' NHK Okayama broadcasting station' opened recently .
And I see some tall buildings which are also under construction.
So more people are visiting there than before.
That side becomes hot and is changing !! 
’Queen of the Night’ on 10/4
Look before you leap.
We can't be too careful to do something.
We should prepare for anything that may happen.
The flower of 'Queen of the Night' :(Ge-kka bi-ji-n) bloomed last night.
It began to bloom in the evening with the good fragrance and withered early in the morning.
The life is very short !
There is another pot of the flower that has some buds which will bloom in a few days.
I'm looking forward to seeing them.
This flower blooms two or three times during the summer.
Perhaps this is the last time.

Long time no see!
How are you getting along?
It's becoming cool a little and I'm fine but I feel lonely these days.
Why?
Because one of my families passed away on September 27.
Her name was Yuki.
She lived to be 20 years old.
If she was a man, she was about 100 years old.
She had lived happily in my house, but she is not here now.
I feel sad .

The flowers of cosmos are in full bloom now.
It is one of my favorite flowers as well as cherry blossoms.
I see them everywhere around here.
Pink, white, russet, yellow cosmos are swaying in the breeze.
We call it 'Cherry blossoms in fall';'Aki-za-ku-ra' in Japanese.
Taking a walk this evening，I saw these Japanese pampas grasses．
They were swaying in the breeze in fall．
When I see them in the evening, I feel lonely a little.
