with some of my musician friends
from Endlicheri Endlicheri.

It was so nice to get together with them
after a long while
and celebrated the birthday of Ishizuka-san
the engineer for Endlicheri.

廻さんが車で連れてってくれた

My friend Meguri-san, a wonderful
guitarist came to pick me up
at Kinshicho station.


美味しかった

I enjoyed dinner with him.
Everything was so delicious.


そして、ガーリック人間になっちゃった

and we became like
"The garlic man".


今度はご飯なしで250にしてみよう

I will try on a 300g-steak without
rice next time.

I think I was tired.


夜中３時ごろに寝て
一度も起きずにお昼頃まで寝てた

I went to sleep at around 3 am last night
and I kept sleeping without waking
until noon today.


４時ごろ、ヤマダ電機へパソコンを取りに行った

I went to Yamada Denki to pick up my computer.


全部セッティングしてくれて
wiMAXの設定もしてくれて
私は幸せな気分で

Everything was perfectly set up
by the pretty-looking male shop attendant
whom I have met yesterday.

Another attendant set up wiMAX right in front
of me. I was so happy and I went to
Renoir near Miyashita Park.


そこでちょっとアクセスしたりして。

I accessed onto this blog.


それから高田馬場で高樹レイさんと
会って、楽しくあれこれ話しながら
とっても美味しいものを食べた

Then I headed to Takadanobaba
and met up with Rei Takagi
and had a great time with her
talking about various things
over wonderful dinner.


彼女と一緒にやるライブ
とっても楽しみです

They were all very good.

Primitive Cool is now recording our first album.



私は今日、２曲歌った

Today I overdubbed two songs for that.



歌う前に、私達の最後にやったライブを聴いたんだけど
歌、めっちゃ良かった！

I listened to our last concert before I started singing.
I sang very good!!



あの録音をCDにして売ればいいと思う。

We had better make that recording into a CD format and
put it on sale.



スタジオで、
今、レイラ・ハサウェイと一緒に日本に来ている
NY在住の松野啓太さんに会った。

I met a guitarist from NY Keita Matsuno at the studio.
He is now touring Japan with Lalah Hathaway.


レコーディングの後、安部さんと、スタジオ近くのお好み焼きを食べに行った。

After recording, Abe Jun and I went to an Okonomiyaki place near the studio
to have dinner together.

Primitive cool (without me) is going to have a gig
at Blues Alley on the 22nd of this month.


今日はいい日だった。

I was a bit disappointed with the "beef" curry
the other day, so I went to Coco Ichi and
enjoy Veggie and chicken curry with rice.

that I had for dinner with my friend yesterday
on the way back from Pancrase and SRC.

リハーサル終えて、友達のカンちゃんと
上本町のパゴダ

After the rehearsal,
I met up with my male friend Kan-chan and went out to have dinner
together at my very favorite Pagoda in Uehonmachi.



そこで、ユッケ、レバ刺し、キムチ、ナムル、
チヂミ、こりこり、塩てっちゃん、ミノ、タン塩
カルビ、ロース、ハラミ、などを食べました


We had Yukke, Liver sashimi, Kimchee, namuru,
chijimee, various kinds of guts, tongue,
Yakiniku and everything.

They were all darn good !!



Pagoda serves best Yukke I ever had in my life.

カンちゃんと私は色んなこと話した。

We talked about various things.

an early bird

昨日は午前五時に就寝
今日は午前五時に起床

Yesterday I went to bed at 5 am
Today I woke up at 5 am.



ヨーカン並みの早起きだ

I got up as early as Yokan.



朝ご飯食べて、洗濯して、干して

I had breakfast and did laundry and hung it to dry.



それから、学校へ行くまでの時間
どうしていいかわかんなかった

Then I didn't know how to spend time
until I went to school. ha ha ha.


何かしようとしても、集中できない
I was trying to do something, but I couldn't focus on it.



それぐらい、理由もなく早起きすることが
レアなこと、なんだよね

That's how unusual it is for me to get up early
without any reasons. ha ha ha.



外出の準備をしている間

I was watching the video of

as I was getting ready to go out.




お昼前、学校へ行く前に近所のカフェでサンドイッチと
珈琲でランチ

I dropped in the cafe in my neighborhood
and had a sandwich with coffee for lunch
before I headed for school.




学校を終えて、帰り道、またお腹すいちゃって
おそば屋さんへ

I felt hungry again when I finished work
and went to the Soba restaurant on the way back.

I had Tempura and Zaru Soba.


それでもまだ空腹。

Yet I was hungry.


だから、かけそばを注文。
店員のお兄さんたち笑ってた。
ラーメンに見えるけど、おそば。

I ordered a bowl of Kake Soba,
which made the waiters laugh slightly.
It looks like Ramen, but it is Koke Soba





早起きするとお腹がへるのかな？

Getting up early makes people hungrier?




家に帰る途中、
今日の服とバッグが変でダサいことに
気付いたので、急いで帰った

On the way back,
I found out that I looked like a turkey
in a wrong dress with a wrong bag.
So I hurried home.




アメリカでは大きな格闘技イベントがありました。
ヒョードルがファブリシオに負けたのは悲しかったけど
私のヒョードルへの愛は変らないのです。

There was a big combative sport event in the states.
I was sad to know that Fedor lost to Fabricio.
Yet, nothing ever changes my love for Fedor.

朝から学校。

I went to school early in the morning.



Steve (Sacks) が来てくれて、ポルトガル語の授業。

Today, we had Steve as a special guest in our class.
He taught us Portuguese.



ほんと、毎回学ぶことが多くて楽しい。

I have fun each time with a lot to learn with him.


午後は個人レッスン。

I gave private lessons to a couple of young singers
in the afternoon.



夜は、ゲルシ(写真)と、高樹レイさんと両国で
美味しいちゃんこ食べた。

Then I met up with Gerushi and Rei Takagi at Ryogoku and enjoyed
darn good Chanko-Nabe for dinner.



ゲルシ、本いっぱいありがとう。

Thank you for the books. Gerushi!



巴潟の塩ちゃんこは、20年以上食べてるけど、まだ飽きない。

I've been eating at Tomoegata for over 20 years now,
yet I can't get tired of it.

A couple of nights ago,
I enjoyed dinner with a jazz singer Rei Takagi at a very nice place
called "cotton club" in Takadanobaba.

I had a great time with Como-chan, talking about various things
over several different tastes of Okonomiyaki.
