The Melon Is Waiting for Me

Last night we had a farewell party for the volunteer who had finished his term and goes back to Japan.

So I came back home late and I didn’t update my blog.

Today I went to the central market but there was no space to park and I gave up.

I went to the JICA dormitory soon and informed K the agricultural JOCV was in the market and searched the prices of vegetables.

I ringed his phone soon and asked him to buy some lettuce.

When I was waiting at the dormitory several JOCVs had come and they were going to the Malaysian restaurant to have “Lakusa” for a lunch and I joined them.

After coming back home I realized that the sweet melon that I bought a few days ago had been waiting for me and cut it for the afternoon tea time.

It was good enough to eat but it was too big for only one person and I could eat only a quarter of it.
