そろそろ北への長旅
羽が有れば渡り後追い

On holiday I go to Shibushi Bay for bird watching
This morning's bay is covered with morning mist and sound of waves is also quiet
A somewhat large seabird is a member of Sandpiper
This bird is Great knot a traveling bird to north and south of the earth
太陽はまた昇る
旭にかがやく東の空
今日は昨日にあらず
二度と戻らぬこの日
故郷の微笑み満開の桜
The sun will rise again
East sky where morning sun shines
Today is another day than yesterday
Never return again today
I feel peace of hometown in full bloom's cherry blossoms
朝の半月
上弦かな下弦かな？
旭は東に月は西に
夜明け前の競技場
生きる喜び空に輝く

三月下旬そろそろ北帰行の季節
カルガモとホシハジロの一集団
体力を蓄えて肝属川河口に集結
自然が織りなす光景に地球の鼓動

In late March, there are season when the Ducks passes to north of earth
A group of Spotbill and Redhead
A group of Wild duck accumulate wild bird's strength at wintering ground and gather at river mouth
I feel heartbeat of earth in scene that nature unfolds

クロツラとダイサギの群れ
志布志湾河口は冬の定住地
野鳥の門をノックする気分
吾が孫子に探鳥の楽しさ伝え

And kept family's lives firmly and continued connect to descendants

湾流が年月掛けた自然の賜
いつしか調教馬の訓練浜へ
海辺には波に乗るサーファー

Gulf stream had created sandy beach over years, natural's gift
Beach have become racehorse's training area although history is unknown
And surfers are enjoying surfing on the sea
渡り鳥の楽園
ホシハジロも新年を迎えると
警戒心が薄れて人影に怯えず
集団の輪が広がり個々の行動
越冬地に馴染み北帰行へ備える

When Redhead arrives at New Year
Migratory bird also lose vigilance and become no careful just a little to people
And flock spreads, Single action is seen also in migratory birds
Rest on wintering ground and prepare for go backing to north breeding ground

大隅半島肝属川河口の中洲に
朝の留鳥と渡り鳥は共存光景
カワウは生魚カルガモは川藻
野鳥観察自然の営みへ想い及ぶ
