王子訪問 （Visiting Oji area）

出張のついでに、友達夫婦の家を訪問。
水炊きとおでんをいただくと共に、
２歳半にもうすぐなろうとする娘さんと遊んできました。^^

最初は人見知りしてた彼女も、何度も会っているせいか（？）、
次第に慣れてきて最後はとぉってもフレンドリー♪
帰る頃にはハグとほっぺにキスまでしてもらいました（苦笑）。

おでんも水炊きも手作りで絶品！
料理好きな夫婦合作で、久しぶり？に温かい味を
体験させていただきましたね。

ところで、王子は学生時代に近所に住んでいたところでもあるので、
友人宅を訪れる途中に少し、学生時代を思い出しました。
あの頃と本質的にはあまり変わっていないかなぁ・・・

In addition to visiting Tokyo for business trip,
I met my university friends living around Oji,
enjoying Oden and Mizu-taki, traditional Japanese cuisines
and playing with their daughter whose age is about 2 and a half.

She was at first shy but gradually accustomed to talking with me,
becoming very friendly at last.
When going back, I was hugged and kissed by her. ^^

Oden and Mizu-taki were so nice that I felt very happy with their warm welcome.
Both of them were good at cooking, so I envied ther family.

Oji was the city where I lived around when I was at university in Tokyo.
When visiting them, Oji city reminded me of my young days...
I wish I could become grown up since then.

スタッドレス、キタァーーーーー！ (Got winter tires.)

たまには、ちょっと電車男風に（笑）。

本日、とうとうスタッドレスをゲット！
245/40R18というアホみたいなサイズなので、非常に高価・・・（泣）
しかし、これで取りあえずスキーにいける素地は固まりました。
ふっふっふ。。。

ショートスキー仲間は既にゲット済なので、２月になったら行くぞぉ～♪

Finally got winter tires, giving me a power to go skiing by my evolution X.

The size of tires, 245/40R18 was so unique to my car that
the price was too expensive although I bought it through Internet...
However, it was a tiny problem; now that I've got a freedom to jump into the snow world!

Lookign forward to going skiing with my short-ski friends next month!

プチ同窓会 (Petit Alumni Reunion)

東京出張のついでと言ってはナンですが、
前泊時にInseadの同級生と東京で会う機会がありました。

残念ながら2人ほど来れませんでしたが、意外な2人と会うことが出来、
思っていた以上に面白く、刺激にもなりましたね。
1人は消息不明で実は現在スイス在住の日本人（出張中）、
で、もう1人はキャンパス違いで会ったことはなかったけど、
今は日本で働いている韓国人。

ほんの少しの間でしたが、2人とも現在のポジションから
更に先を考えて、各自の人生をより充実したものにしようという
意気込みを見せてくれて、僕も少しテンション上がりましたね。

久しぶりに英語で会話してましたが、リスニングはまだしも、
スピーキングは以前以上に口が回らず。頑張らないと・・・^^;

In addition to staying at Tokyo on business, I met 2 Insead alumni at dinner, though 2 other guys couldn't show up due to work.

I could enjoy having dinner with one Japanese guy living in Switzerland (Nobody knows!) and one Korean lady living in Tokyo whom I've never met while Insead (but in the same promotion).

Both had strong motivation to enhance their life by proactively moving forward in their life,
motivating me up to reach higher level.

It was really fun night for me;
but speaking only in English was a little bit tough
as I don't usually have any chance to speak...^^;

Anyway, great thanks to Yoshi and Eun Jung!

有馬温泉 (Visiting Arima-onsen: Hot springs)

本日は年休！・・・なんですが、電話がかかってきたり、メール打ったり、
資料作ったり、と半分在宅勤務状態（泣）。

午後は合間をぬって（？）、有馬温泉まで行ってきました♪
家からは下道でも2時間弱、と軽いドライブを楽しみ、
温泉もしっかり味わってきました。
肩こりもいくぶんか解消されたような気がします。うふ。

No work today!...but I had to answer some phones, reply e-mails,
and make some materials...as if I was workin' at home.

However, I visited Arima-onsen, a famous hot spring in Japan.
It locates in less than 2 hours drive from my home;
and I really enjoyed bathing there!
I feel my chronic stiff shoulder a little mitigated...

最近のマイブーム (My recent favorites)

僕の年末年始は、まさにこれ一色。
『のだめカンタービレ』でございました。

ドラマ一挙再放送を観て、年明けの２夜連続スペシャルを観て、
で、プレゼントで出てたＣＤを早速次の日に買って・・・

１度クラシック鑑賞で寝てしまった僕ですが、今は
ベートーベン：交響曲第7番イ長調作品９２の第4楽章エンディングが
大のお気に入りです。。。
で、思うこと。吹奏楽部入っとけばよかった？
女の子も多かったしなぁ・・・ぶつぶつ・・・

During this year-end holidays, I was crazy about "Nodame Cantabile,"
a TV drama based upon the famous Japanese comic book.
This "manga" is about classical music; so I've become very interested in
classical music now, listening to the CD with some music used in the drama.

I watched all TV drama stories aired again during year-end holidays,
enjoyed 2-nights' special stories this year, and bought this CD
on the next day of the nights above.

Am now very crazy about the symphony No.7 in A major composed by Beethoven,
the main title used in this comic.

...and now I regret that I should have belonged to wind orchestra when high school student...^^

お買い物 （Going shopping）

帰国して早半年あまり。
・・・まだ家の中は整理が仕切れておりませぬ。

と言うわけで、本日はアウトレット等までお買い物。
クッションや整理用ボックスを買った後、
ニトリで食器棚と本棚を購入。

だが、最後まで悩んだのが、ダイニングテーブル。
独り身には２人用くらいでちょうどいいけど、
スペース的に４人用くらいないと返って寂しい気もする。
が、今そんな大きいもの買う必要もない？
・・・などと悩んだ末、保留（ありがち）。^^;;;
しばらくはこのままで過ごしそうです。

Six months has already passed since I came back to Japan;
however, my room is not fully furnished enough...

So, I went shopping to buy some stuffs today,
buying a cushion, a box, a cupboard, and bookshelf.

What I hesitated to buy was the dining table.
I'm still single and so don't need a big table;
on the other hand, it's too small to have a table for 2 people in my room.
(and a bigger one is not necessary now...)

Finally, I didn't buy any dining table now, leaving my room empty for a while.

帰阪 (Back to Osaka）

と言うわけで、本日帰阪しました。
神戸JCT辺りの渋滞（今日は25kmだとか・・・）を避けるため、
先ほど到着するように帰宅。
お陰さまでほとんど渋滞には会いませんでした。

写真は帰りに寄っためかりPAの様子。
関門橋をバックに、わがエボちんが映えてますな（笑）。

山陽道ではエボを存分に楽しむことが出来ました。
いやー、追い越したいときに追い越せるというのは気持ちいいもんです。
スタッドレス買おうかな・・・

I'm back to Osaka today!
Usually we have heavy traffic jam at Kobe junction area when coming back to Osaka from west Japan.
(It is said that we had 25km long jam there today...)
But, I already know how to avoid it (by arriving there after 22:00);
so I was not stressed out with any traffic jams today. ^^

On my way back to Osaka, I really enjoyed driving my car,
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Passing the car ahead at any time I want is really exciting!
I might buy winter tires to go skiing...
