ハッシュド・ビーフ・オムライス （Hashed Beef with rice and omelet）

今日は朝からカフェで朝食、
そして愛車の６ヶ月点検でディーラーさんへ。
家に帰ってからは、洗車となんちゃってヨガ。(^^
なんだかんだで過ごした後のシメは手料理（笑）。

今夜は卵が余ってたので、オムレツ。
まぁ普通のオムレツだと寂しいので、
ハッシュドビーフ・オムライスにしてみました。

簡単で美味いのはいいのですが・・・
牛肉が高い！
あぁ、池袋のニュークイックで買ってた頃が懐かしい・・・
これからはご飯ものも作っていこうかな。

Today, we have national holiday in Japan.
I woke up early and had a breakfast at cafe, going to Mitsubishi-Motors dealer to make my car checked.

After having come back home, I cleaned up my car and enjoyed(?) Yoga.
And then, finished today with cooking this hashed beef with rice and omelet.

It's quite easy to cook and delicious!
But beef here in Japan is very expensive! (Otherwise I can cook it everyday...)
The price of beef sold at store called New Quick in Ikebukuro, Tokyo
was reasonable...I wanna go there to get any meat.
Anyway, will cook not only Italian but Japanese dishes with rice hereafter.

お買い物♪ （Shopping!）

アウトレットモールからセールのお便り。
ちょうどスーツなど欲しい時期だったので、
ぴゅーんとりんくうアウトレットモールへ。

すっかりお馴染みになってしまったブルックス・ブラザーズと
スコッチ・グレインに立ち寄り、スーツと靴を購入♪
合わせて給料の半月分くらい使ったかも・・・(--;;;

しばらくは大人しくしてます（苦笑）。

Have got a letter that tells me they'll have a sale.
Willing to have some suits and so on, I drove to the Rinku Outlet Mall,
just near Kansai International Airport.

Now that I'm getting along well with sales people at Brooks Brothers,
I bought two suits, two shirts and three neck ties there.^-^
Also, have got nice shoes at Scotch Grain store.
Whole of them cost me a lot; maybe half a monthly salary...

I should not do anything at all for a while to save my money...^^;

プピーユ 2004 （Poupille 2004）

最近の週末は、家にいれば自炊でパスタとワインが定番。
今週末はどうにもコート・ドゥ・ローヌのワインが飲みたくなり、
夕方に車でワイン屋さんへ♪
でローヌのワインも手に入れましたが、神の雫ワインを発見し、
我慢できず購入。。。(^^;

それがこのプピーユ、2004年ものです。
スイスのブラインドでの品評会で、あのペトリュスと競り合ったという一品。
メルロー種100%ながら厚みがある味わい。
でも、ちょっと飲むのが早かった？
でも、美味しい♪^^

今度はしっかりとデキャンタージュして飲みたいですなぁ。。。

Recently, I usually enjoy pastas cooked by myself and wines on weekends.
This weekend, I couldn't help drinking a wine made in Cotes de Rhone,
going to wine shop to buy the wine.
Though I could make it, I found the wine shown in the famous comic book,
Water drip of God, buying it too...

This is the wine, Poupille 2004, made in Cotes de Castillon.
This wine is made with 100% of Merlot, but tastes a little heavy.
Maybe it was a little early to drink it; but I enjoyed it as well.
Next time I should use a decanter to drink it.

東大訪問 （Visiting the Univ. of Tokyo）

先週、所用で東大を訪問する機会がありました。
以前訪れた頃とは雲泥の差。
キャンパス外もいろいろ美味しそうなお店が増えている上に、
内にもカフェ、イタリアンレストラン等々。
驚いたのがスタバがとうとう構内にあったこと。
いやー、今の学生さんは恵まれている・・・

研究室訪問に加え、帰りの駅では思いがけず友人に再会。
世の中狭いですなぁ。^^

Visited the Univ. of Tokyo last week.
It has drastically changed its appearance, having a lot of cafes,
restaurants, and convinience stores inside.
The most surprising one was the fact that Starbucks had opened
in its campus...I envy it...

I coincidentally happened to meet an old friend after visiting a lab.
That was a nice surprise to me. ^^

スパゲッティ・ボロネーゼ （Spaghetti alla Bolognese）

美味いっす。これまででベストかも。^^

最近の週末マイブームと化している？自炊シリーズですが、
やっぱり、レトルトを買ってくるのとは味が違う。
ホールトマトも和食なら酸味が強いけど、イタリアンならあいますなぁ
など色々と発見もあってなかなか楽しい♪

ボロネーゼは赤ワインにも合うので、先週開けたワインも進むしね。

Tastes really good, maybe best of all so far.

Cooking seems to be my recent pastime hobby.
It is much better to cook by myself than to use pouch-packed foods.
Using whole tomato can is suitable for Italian meals than Japanese ones, I think.
It's really interesting to discover such a thing.

This spaghetti matches red wine, making me drink more glasses of red wine...

ナポリタン♪ （Spaghetti Napolitan）

昨日の予告どおり、本日の夕食はナポリタン♪
白ワインやバターも効かせて、塩は一切使用せず。
しかーし、これがまたナポリタン♪（笑）
意外と簡単ですね。なんだかはまりそう～( ~o~)

フランスに住んでから以前と少し変わったのは、
食事の時間をゆったりと楽しむことができるようになったこと。
ワインとビール、手料理のナポリタンで、
普通の夕食もなんだか贅沢に感じる？（笑）
シャトー・モン・ペラ2004も美味でござんした。

・・・ただ、ちょっと作りすぎ。。。おなか一杯です。^^;

As I said, today's dinner was spaghetti napolitan!
With a cup of white wine and a piece of butter, no additional salt.
It was really good taste, amazingly.
Not so difficult, I would be good at making it.

Since living in France, I learned to enjoy eating and drinking slowly,
feeling the time passing by.
With a glass of red wine, chateau Mont-Perat 2004, a glass of beer,
and my hand-made spaghetti napolitan,
usual dinner became very rich and gorgeous...^^

...but it was too much for me in quantity today...

花見？ （Cherry Blossoms）

今日はの～んびり散歩したりして、花見を楽しむはずだったのですが・・・
やらねばならぬ仕事に結構手間取りまして、午後はほとんど会社(ToT)
夕方、少しだけ大川まで足を運ぶ時間が出来ました。

まぁ、軽く散歩する程度だったのが残念ですが、
大阪は今週末が桜の見頃！
京都もさぞかし混んでいたのでしょう・・・
（心なしか、大阪にの道も空いてました）

It must have been my pastime today;
I would have just been doing nothing, going for a walk...
However, I was too busy at work not done yet to enjoy free time,
working at office almost all of this afternoon.
Had a little time to walk along Okawa river which is famous for its cherry blossom trees.

Now is the best time to see cherry blossoms fully blooming here in Osaka.
Kyoto would have been congested with a lot of people coming there this weekend!

自炊再開？ （Resuming cooking by myself）

ここ最近は週末に少し余裕が出てきているので、
以前から準備を始めていたのが自炊。

フランスでも和食を食べるためにやってましたが、
日本はその必要もなかったのでこれまで外食三昧・・・
ただ、自炊の利点は
１．気分転換になる（まぁ、趣味みたいなものです）
２．頭のいい運動になる（段取りなど考えないといけませんし）
３．健康的（塩加減など調整できますから）
４．食いたいものが食いたい量だけ食える（笑）

久しぶりの手料理は、カルボナーラと洒落込んでみました♪
まだ完璧！とはいきませんが、一応（苦笑）カルボナーラ。
これから精進ですな。

食材がもったいないので、明日はナポリタンの予定。

Have time to freely enjoy my pastime, preparing stuffs to cook at home.

As in France, it was hard to eat delicious Japanese meals,
I often cooked by myself.

I like cooking because:
1) Good for changing my mood (like a hobby)
2) Requires me to make my brain work (process matters)
3) Healthy (I can control its taste)
4) I can eat whatever I want and as much as I want

I resumed cooking with carbonara, my favorite Italian food.
It was not perfect; but it tastes carbonara (laugh).
Tomorrow, I will cook another pasta meals.^^

東京タワー (Tokyo Tower)

先週は怒涛の送別会ウィークで、週末などは仕事して、飲んで、寝て、
仕事して、飲んで、寝て、仕事して、飲んで、寝て・・・
休む暇がないまま、日曜の夜のうちに仕事のために東京へ。（そしてホテルで仕事・・・）

そんな中、ホテルへ向かう途中で観た東京タワー。
東京を離れると、なんだか愛おしくなるのは気のせいか。
ドラマ「東京タワー」の影響でしょうか。ちょっと人恋しくなりました。^^;

Last week was crazy; I had five farewell parties, repeating working, drinking and sleeping...
Had no time to relax during weekend, going to Tokyo on business.
(and worked after checking in a room...)

Tokyo tower is one of the touristy places in Tokyo,
and reminds me of the old days when I was in Tokyo, maybe I'm based in Osaka now.
Maybe due to the drama story, "Tokyo Tower,"
I did feel like lonely when I saw it...
