ハッピー・ウェディング (Happy Wedding)

今週末は東京で大学同窓との飲み会、
そして同窓ではないが、同学年の友人の結婚式がありました。

久しぶりに同窓と出会い、そして結婚式にも出ましたが、
元気にやっている皆と会うのはいい刺激にもなるし、
なんだか懐かしい気持ちにもなりますね。

結婚されたお二人には幸せになってもらいたいですね。

I had a small alumni meeting with my friends at university
and my friend's wedding.

Meeting and having some talk with them encouraged and relaxed me.
I'd like to keep in touch with them as long as possible.

I hope the weds would have a happy life.

決定 (Finished a discussion.)

今日は本当に久しぶりの年休。
朝から活動しようと思っていたが、案の定寝過ごし。

で、天気予報では大阪は今日は雨。
でどうしようか家でぐずぐずしてたら、晴れてきたりして。

ま、そんなことで天気にも見切りをつけて、
懸案の新車購入を決めにディーラーさんへ。
ちょっとした交渉を経て、注文してきちゃいました♪
実写の絵はないので、カタログの絵をパシリ。
納車は１２月中旬頃とのこと。
紅葉ドライブには間に合いませぬが、
バーゲンドライブには間に合うかも（笑）。

Got a holiday today for the first time since I resumed working.
Looked forward to being active in the morning,
but slept late as I expected...

In addition, the weather forecast said it's gonna be rainning today.
But it was rather getting better outside...

So, I went to a certain car dealer to negotiate to buy a new car.
After an hour or so negotiation, I've decided to buy the car above.
It's gonna arrive at my home in the mid-December.
Though I will not drive to watch Autumn leaves,
I might enjoy driving to join a bargain sale at outlet mall.^^

横浜 (Yokohama)

昨日は久しぶりに横浜を訪れました。
いやはや、５年ぶりくらいかも。
通算でも３回目くらい？だったりします。

以前訪れた頃は工事中？だったQueen's Squareもすっかり出来ており、
ランドマークタワーを見上げながら、少々感慨にふけってみたり。
そう、昔はビール飲みながら山下公園を散歩してたなぁ・・・（笑）

It has been a long time since I visited Yokohama before.
It may be 5 years or so.
Though I lived in Tokyo for 6 years, I have only visited Yokohama 3 times or so as far as I know...

Last time when I was there, Queen's Square was under construction;
but now it's already not like what has just finished grand-open celemony.
Looking up at Landmark Tower, I remembered visiting there...
Ya, I was walking for a while at Yamashita Park drinking a beer. ^^

御堂筋パレード (Midou-suji Parade)

今日はスタバ読書でくつろごうと思い、大阪市内に出て行ったところ、
御堂筋パレードに出くわしました。

そういえば、ラジオで今日はパレードだと言っていたのを思い出したのですが、
正直、あまり興味なし。^^;;;
ですが、規模的には結構なもので、バトントワリングなど久しぶりに見ましたねぇ。

ところで、そろそろ車を買いたい今日この頃。
今日もカーナビ選びに余念が無く・・・

To have private time enjoying starbucks coffee and books,
I visited Osaka-city, encountering Midou-suji parade there.
To tell the truth, I was not interested in it so much;
but it looks good and would be interesting if I checked it in more detail.

BTW, I'm now very interested in buying a new car!
Today, checked the GPS navigation system...^^

自分の時間 (My private time)

今日は久しぶりに丸一日の休日。
午後になって堂島のジュンク堂本店へ本巡りをしに行き、
その後に肥後橋のスタバへ行くと言う、
以前ハマっていた休日の過ごし方を久しぶりにやってみました。

仕事や人付き合いで時間が足りない今日この頃ですが、
こうして小一時間だけでも自分の時間を持ってみるのは
ストレス解消になっていいものです。
御堂筋の紅葉などが始まり、マイカーを購入できれば、
休日はスタバで読書も復活しそうな感じですね。

I have never had an entire holiday for a couple of weeks till today.
So, went to Junku-do book shop in Dojima area in Osaka-city,
and had a cafe and cake at Starbucks in Higobashi area;
this is the way I like when spending holidays.

My schedule these days is crazy with work and social gatherings,
but it is good for myself to have this kind of relaxing time alone.

When autumn leaves start along Mido-suji and if I had a car then,
I would begin reading books at Starbucks on holidays.^^
