秘教と現代科学：時間と空間


　ブラヴァツキーの『Isis Unveiled 覆いを脱いだイシス』（1877年）と『The Secret Doctrine 秘密教義』（1888年）は、当時よく売れたらしい。アインシュタインは、座右の書として、ブラヴァツキーの『秘密教義』を置いていた（要引用）らしい。
　
　秘教では、時間と空間は錯覚である。物理学でも、観測結果を記述する概念枠であったり、理論上の概念的枠組みであったりする。ベンジャミン クレーム（要引用）は、ビッグバン仮説はほぼ正しいと述べた。

　時間と空間は、秘教的見解によれば、錯覚である（要引用）。ただし、空間は時間よりも実在的である、とBlavatskyは言う（要引用）。
　輪廻転生説 reincarnation に立っているが、或る生涯と次の生涯との間の時間のサイキック的算定が間違っている理由が述べられている下りがある。アーカーシャの記録 Akashic Records

を読んで時間の算定をする方法は、たとえばリバイ ドーリング（1968．栗原基 訳 1982/4/30 第四版）の『宝瓶宮福音書』に述べられている。

f. An atom finds its place within all forms; it is the aggregation of atoms that produces form. g. Its responsiveness to outer stimulation:

　秘教の公理またし大前提とは、
　　すべての存在するものは、エネルギーである。
というものである。
　すると、この世界の存在者たちを分類することとは、エネルギーの種類と量で分類するまたは同定することである。

　Woodgerの本、『生物学の諸原理：批判的研究 Biological Principles: A Critical Study』（1929; revised 1967）に、「p.266　エンテレキーの批判［Sattler, p.213に引用］」と、わたしの走り書きあり。229頁から272頁までの、「Part II Problems of Biological Knowledge Chapter V」は、「生気論と機械論の対照 The antithesis between vitalism and mechanism」である。
　ところで、索引で「energy」を見ると、太字で「217」頁とあった。
　そのWoodger (1967: 217)の頁は、

　　「I have followed the tendencies of mordern thought in using the term 'event' for the spatio-temporal elements in the situation in which I am said to be 'seeing a lump of iron' ... 」
の段落で始まる。続いての第二段落は、

　　「It is ridiculous to go on talking as though energy were
　a stuff. And it will be desirable, in view of the prevailing
　attitude of biologists towards this notion of energy, to call
　attention to some statements of recent mathematico-phisical
　writers on the question. Thus Mr. Bertrand Russel writes:

　たとえば奇蹄類と偶蹄類の共通祖先は、物質的形態（したがって、当時の生きた生物体、したがってまたその化石）としては存在しないと主張している。

　　Lo/vtrup (1982a)は、進化を説明する進化理論について、それを構成する四つの理論が必要である。すなわち、

　　3. 進化の機構〔メカニズム〕を扱う理論1：後成的理論
　　4. 進化の機構〔メカニズム〕を扱う理論2：生態的理論

　　「進化の実在性についての理論
　この理論は、地球上の生命がは進化の過程を経て起源したと、主張する。それが含意することのなかで最も決定的な〔重要な〕のは、最初の生きている生物体は極度に原始的であり、時間とともに、ますます高等な形態が生じた、ということである。

　この一番目の理論または仮説を、「進化は事実」仮説と呼ぼう。
　この仮説はいかにして確証 confirmation または反確証 disconfirmation（反証 falsification）されるのか？
　1. 〈すべての生物体は、親子関係によって繋がる〉という主張（仮説）を、試験 test すること。
　2. 〈異種に属する任意の少なくとも２個体の生物体たちは、親子関係によって繋がる〉という主張（仮説）を、試験 test すること。

　様々な種に属する生物体から得られたDNA塩基配列のデータから「系統」なるものは、次のようにして構築される。

　これらの手順では、いくつかの問題があるが、いわば万世一系 an unbroken line の系図となる。異なる種または属に属する生物体が交配することによる雑種形成の場合も、繋がりは切れるわけではない。これは、根本的な仮定であり、そのもとに何らかのアルゴリズムが設定され、そしてまたどのモデルを選ぶかの何らかの基準が設定されて、計算される。
　科学的知識体系は、同一性と差異性の体系である。比較は、対象についてなんらかの同一性のもとに、つまり二者以上のなんらかの観測される同一とみなされた振る舞い（性質など）について、行なわれる。たとえば、相同とみなされた形質について、その類似性（同一性と差異性）が調べられる。

　神智学協会ドイツ支部長であったRudolf Steiner ルドルフ シュタイナーは、アニー ベサントらがクリシュナムルティをキリスト職のマイトレーヤの器となるべく活動するのに反対して、神智学協会から独立して人智学協会を設立した。日本では、人智学に関する雑誌も発刊されたが、広く知られるようになった一因は、シュタイナー教育としての紹介（たとえば 子安 19**）だと思う。
　なお、Benjamin Creme ベンジャミン クレーム（要文献）は、シュタイナーはオカルティスト〔秘隠者、隠秘主義者〕occultist ではなく、神秘主義者〔神秘家〕mysticであると言う。

　オルゴンとか生気論に関連する箇所をいくつか抜き出した。パウル・カンメラーへの言及もあった。

　　「ライヒはフォーレルからさらに生気論哲学者ハンス・ドリーシュの著作に向かった。ドリーシュは一八九〇年代に流行した「生命機械論」に幻滅して生物学を見棄てたのだった。生命は根本的に目的を持ち、それに沿っている、とドリーシュは確信していた。〔略〕半分にされた卵は、半分の胚になるかと思いきや、大きさは半分だが完全な胚になる。このように生物有機体は一部分からでも形づくられる。これにたいして、一本のネジから機械を作りあげることはできない。
　しかしながらライヒは、「機械論」にたいするドリーシュの反駁が説得的であることは認めつつも、議論の次の段階は受け入れることができなかった。ドリーシュによれば、生物有機体の「目的」は自然を超えたところ、すなわち時間や空間の外側にある。ドリーシュはこの目的を「エンテレヒー」と呼んだ。だがライヒは、ドリーシュが裏口から神を招き入ているのを見抜くことができた。エンテレヒーという一つの言葉を用いることによって、より大きな問題が回避されているように思われた。

　　「だがじつはライヒ自身、本質的には最後まで生気論者であった。彼は『オルガスムの機能』の中で、仏教の教えやルドルフ・シュタイナーの人智学にも影響を受けたことを告白している。それにもかかわらず、ライヒは生気論の科学的証明を探し求め、パウル・カンメラーの著作の中にある程度満足のいくものを見出した。カンメラーは、進化においては意志が根本的な役割を演じていると考える生物学者だった。」（コリン ウィルソン（鈴木晶 訳 1986/6）『性と文化の革命家』63頁）。

　　「ライヒは、この小さな玉は一種の生命組織であり、生命エネルギーの基本単位に違いない、と確信するようになり、これを「ビオン」と命名した。そしてライヒによれば、ビオンは草や卵白のような有機物からだけでなく、土や石炭のような無機物からも形成される。
要するにライヒはこう主張したのだ??われわれが呼吸する空気や地球を取り巻いている空間には生命が充満しており、それがこうした単細胞を「乗っ取り」、それを生物に変えるのだ、と。ライヒは、再び自然発生説を引っ張り出してきて、これこそ真実だと主張したわけだ。」（コリン ウィルソン（鈴木晶 訳 1986/6）『性と文化の革命家』278～279頁）。

　　「常温核融合騒動は、現代科学が抱える問題点の典型例としてしばしば引き合いに出される。科学者はほんの少しの事実から過大なことをセンセーショナルに言い過ぎる、といった批判や、論文発表が今や記者会見に取って替わられてしまっているのは異常だ、などの批判である。ばかげた騒動に終わるとわかっていながら常温核融合のような騒動が繰り返し起こるのは、人々の深層心理に、無限の新エネルギーを求める幻想が横たわっているからだ、という批判もある。

　科学者たちの研究生活の環境として、金銭や地位によって過大な競争へと煽らないようにするのが良い。各国の科学者たちが相互に協力的になるようにすれば、資源が節約できる。
