今日から新年度
毎年の事ながら区切りを感じる日ですね。
当社は３月決算ではありませんので
業務上特別にやる事はありませんが
繁忙期が終わりほっと一息つける
そんな日でもあります。
明日は久しぶりに社員を労うために食事会をする予定です。
私が新年度を一番強く感じるのは子供たちですね。
自分の孫も一人新一年生になりますが
黄色い安全カバーをしたランドセル姿の新一年生
本当に可愛くて見かけるたびに微笑んでいます。
近くの中学の通学路になってるために
当社の前はたくさんの新中学生も通り過ぎて行きます。
ダボダボの制服を着た１年生たちはまだ小さくて可愛さが残っています。
そんな中上級生たちは大きくなって
私より背が高い子もたくさんいます。
そんな子たちは
逆に制服が小さくなってしまい
窮屈そうに見えます。
中学の３年間は心も体も大きく成長する
これを視覚的に感じるのも今の時期です。
体が大きくなれば
もう大人の準備に入ります。
私の部落のお年寄りたちの話を聞けば
昔の人の人たちは小学校を卒業すると
そのまま農業に従事して
死ぬまでそれが続いたそうですから
12～3歳で大人になったのです。
まあ実際には一気に大人になる訳ではありませんよね。
親の手伝いをしながら
畑の中で心と体の成長を続けたんだろうと思います。
こんな話を聞くと
昔の人は気の毒
そう感じる人が多いかも知れませんが
私自身はそうは思いませんね。
幸福の尺度で測ると
どっちかと言うと昔の人が幸せだった
そんな風に思うのです。
それは自分の体験からもそう感じますし
流れて来る悲惨なニュース
これからも本当に今の時代が良いとは言い切れない
そう思うのです。
私の体験から言えば
中学時代は一番辛くて苦しい時代でしたし
今のいじめによる自殺とか
あるいは子供への虐待
これは大人へ成長する時期に
わずかの先生を除けば
ほとんど子供たちだけで過ごす学校と言う閉鎖した空間に閉じ込められる
この弊害だと思う事があります。
まぁしかし大量の知識の吸収が求められる
今の発達した時代には
長い時間をかけた教育
これは必要なんだと思いますが
その弊害は結構大きい
私はいつもそれを感じます。
ですからダボダボの服の中学生を見ると
無事に中学の時期を過ごして欲しい
いつも心では願っています。
しかし何で中学はそんなに残酷な空間になるのでしょうか？
それは一口にいえば
成長に個人差があるからです。
体の大きい子は
小さな同級生を見ると子供に見えます
その小さな子は
相手が大きくても同級生ですから
対等
そんな意識があります。
逆に勉強と言う視点で見れば
体の大きさとは関係なく
小さな子供の方が脳の発達が早い
こんな事もあります。
この発達の違いが
小さな子が普通に同級生として接してるのに
大きな子からすれば生意気
そんな風に感じていじめにつながるのです。
これは私たちの時代から存在する構造的な問題ですから
成長の差に関係なく中学と言う閉鎖空間に子供を入れる以上は
永遠に続く問題だと思います。
これが残酷だと確信できるのは
高校からは
分類分けが行われるからです。
勉強のできる子たちとそうでない子たち
違う高校に行きますから
中学ほどの軋轢はありません
また高校は体が大きく狂暴な子は退学になりますから
その意味では子供の安全性は増します。
これが会社となれば
完全に社員の選別が行われますから
社内では能力もある程度均一化されるのです。
それと中学は義務教育ですが
会社はいつでも辞める事ができますからね
自殺する位ならとっとと転職すれば良い訳で
地獄も中学に比べれば存在しません。
まぁしかしそれはそうなんですが
会社自体も成長期の子供と同じで
ある程度すると窮屈になります。
当社の場合
差し当たり子会社の成長が著しいので
そろそろ器を大きくしなければ
問題が深刻になる
そう感じています。
ズバリ
今年度の目標は
事務所を増やすか大きくする
これです。
社員の皆さん
この目標を共有して
今日から一年頑張りましょう。
New fiscal year starts today
It's a day that feels like a break even though it happens every year.
Our company does not have a fiscal year end in March.
So we don't have anything special to do for work.
But April means busy season is over of us
We can take a breather
Tomorrow we are planning to have a dinner party for the first time in a while
My self
when I see children I feel fresh atmosphere
One of my grandchildren will also be a freshman in elementary school
A new first grade student wearing a school bag with a yellow safety cover
They are really cute and makes me smile every time I see them
Because it is a commuting route for a nearby junior high school.
Many new junior high school students pass in front of our company.
The first graders are still small and cute in their baggy uniforms.
Those middle and upper-class students have grown up.
There are many children who are taller than me.
Such children
On the other hand, the uniform has become smaller.
It looks cramped.
During the three years of junior high school, the mind and body grow significantly.
Now is the time to visually feel this.
When their body gets bigger
They are ready to become an adult now.
When I listen to the stories of the elderly people in my village,
When they graduated from elementary school,
They began to farm work soon later
And this work until they died.
At that time
People I became an adult when they were only 12 or 13 years old.
Well, they didn’t actually become an adult all at once.
While helping their parents work
They must grow both mentally and physically in the fields.
When I had heard stories like this
I felt sorry for the old people
Many people may feel that way,
I personally don't think so now
Measured by happiness scale
I cannot say that contemporary people are happier than those days people
I feel that way from my own experience.
And also when I see a lot of tragic news
From my experience
My middle school years were the toughest and most difficult times.
And news about suicide due to bullying
During middle school children grow into an adult
But school is little bit special space
except for a few teachers
they spend most time with limited students
apparently, it has disadvantage for students
However, in this developed era
We need a large amount of knowledge.
education need long period of time
we have to get by with side effect
So when I see junior high school students in baggy clothes,
I want you to spend your middle school years safely.
I always hope in my heart.
The company itself is like a growing child.
It becomes cramped after a certain point.
In our case
For the time being, our subsidiary is experiencing significant growth,
If I don’t prepare big space
the problem will become more serious
straight forward
This fiscal year's goal is
Increase or enlarge our office
This one.
