やりました

日暮里の、Bar Portoで正式に歌うのも初めてです

すごく素敵でした

今日は、ほんと、心が充実しています
声も出ましたね(*^_^*)

ばたやん師匠の懐の深いギター

まるで最高級の手作りのフルオーダー・ハイヒールに
足をそっと入れたような、すごいフィット感

期待していた以上です

もう、プロ生活も32年ですから
何があっても、仮に、心や体の調子が最悪でも
お客様に何とか満足して頂ける様に
歌います

でも、なんて言うか、
今日は、ほんと、素敵でした

今度は１１月２３日に出演予定です

是非、日暮里方面のみなさん、おいで下さいませね！



帰りは、マスターの伊藤さんが
「hugしてもいいか？」とまで言ってくれて
気に入ってくれたようです

１８日高円寺＠JIROKICHIにて

今月１８日に、高円寺のJIROKICHIで
Free funkというご機嫌なバンドのゲストとして
出演させて頂くことになりました

先日、そのリハーサル！

久々に、私のアイドル
ラリー・グラハム率いる
Graham Central Stationの曲を
３曲と、あと１曲別のファンクナンバーを
リハーサル

３つのグループが出ますが
最後にはSlyの曲をやるよ！

お昼、レッスン１人
とても素敵なジャズを歌う女の子
私は彼女の歌が好きだ
大活躍して、人気者になって欲しい

I gave a private lesson to a young student.
She sings very good. I like her singing.
I hope she will become popular.




百合を見て、叔父を想い出した。
私には何人も叔父がいるけど
その叔父は、可愛くおっちょこちょい。

赤く咲くのは百合の花～～～って歌っちゃう
（そりゃ、赤っぽい種類の百合もあるけどさ）
でも、そう歌っちゃったら、次どうするのさ？
し～～ろく咲くのは、百合の花～～～って、
そこで始めて「あ！間違えた」って気付くの

その叔父は、
黄色いさくらんぼ、の歌を
「あ、黄色い、赤とんぼ～～」って歌っちゃうの

可愛い

This beautiful white lily reminded me of one of
my uncles. I have many uncles and he is the
cutest and funniest of all.

He sang an old popular Enka song
"Yume wa yoru hiraku" like this

"Akaku sakunowa yuri no hana"
(literally lilies are red)
but it is a big mistake,
because some lilies are red,
but the real lyrics go like
"Akaku sakunowa keshi no hana".
(literally poppies are red)

but he never noticed that
and kept on singing

"Shiroku sakunowa yuri no hana"
(literally lilies are white.)
This is correct.

He never noticed that he was singing wrong lyrics
he made up until he sang next phrase
"shiroku saku nowa yuri nohana".

so Funny.

This funny and cute uncle also sang
"kiiroi Akatonbo".
(red-dragon fly is yellow)

ha ha ha.

He must sing as
"kiiroi sakuranbo".
(these cherries are yellow,
which means someone
very young and unsophisticated)

ha ha ha.


帰り道、獣医さんに寄って
ピピンのフードを一袋購入

On the way back from the lesson,
I went to see the vet and bought
a bag of cat food for Pippin.

夜は、後輩シンガーの河野美紀ちゃんのライブを
聴きに吉祥寺のSOMETIMEへ

At night
I went to see my Kohai (younger ) friend
Miki Kawano's concert at Sometime, Kichijoji

座って誰かの演奏を聴くのは
変な感じ

It felt very strange to sit and listen to
someone performing.


もう１人の後輩シンガーの黒澤綾ちゃんも
来て、一緒に見たよ

Another Kohai singer Aya Kurosawa showed up
and we enjoyed the music together.

I went to my nail salon and got my nails done
like this. What do you think?







午後のほとんどは、カフェで本を読んですごした

I spent the most of the afternoon reading
a mystery in a cafe.



ミステリー小説が好きだ。
今読んでるのは、刑事が主人公。
半分ほど読んだけど、面白い。

I love reading mysteries.
The hero in this story is a police detective.
Now I've read about a half of it. It is interesting.

でも、ミステリーファンの１人として
うんざりしているのは、主人公が妻や子供にいつも
何かあると予定を変更しなくちゃならなくて申し訳ない
と思っている、という設定。

However, as one of the mystery fans.
I am fed up with the situation that the hero feels
sorry for his wife and daughter because he always
has to cancel plans with his family whenever
something happens.


これまでに読んだ、刑事モノのほとんどが
主人公が申し訳ないと思っていて
妻や子供は、主人公が忙しいことを責めている。

In most of the police detective stories I have read,
the hero feels sorry and his wife and children
blame it.

理解は出来るが、もういい。

I understand that the situation like that is very useful
to make the story strained and tense, but I'm tired of it.

裏表紙の解説では、衝撃のラストが待っているらしいので、
楽しみだ。

The explanation on the cover says that it has an
ending which is unexpectedly astounding and
shocking. I am looking forward to it.





帰り、いつもと違う道を通った。

I took the different way to go back home.


この家の人は、いつも赤紫の花が好きなようだが、
夕暮れにとても綺麗。

The residents in this house seem to be fond of
fuchsia colored flowers. It was so beautiful in the
twilight.





携帯カメラの限界。
実際は、もっともっともっと綺麗。

This is the limitation of the camera on my cell
phone. Real color is much more beatiful






夕焼けを見ると、秋の歌が聞こえる、ね。
早く涼しくならないかな。

When I see the sunset, I think I hear the sky
is starting to sing a song of Autumn.
I can't wait for the cool weather.





今日は、あんまり元気じゃなかった。
ネガティブな考えに、圧倒されそうになった。

I was not very Genki today.
I was almost going to be overwhelmed by
negative thoughts.


みんな、私の歌を求めてくれてるのかな？

Do they want me to sing?


望みを諦めかけた時、友人がライブの出演依頼をくれた。

The moment I was just about to give up hopes,
one of my friend musicians gave me an e-mail
and offered a singing job.

で、夜遅く、
別の友人からメールで、あるライブハウスのマスターが
私をブッキングしたがってるからと伝えてくれた。

and late at night, another friend gave me an e-mail
and told me that the owner of a jazz club wanted to
book me professionally.


私は仏教徒。知らないかもしれないけど、仏教の中
にも,
キリスト教の神とは違うけど、神という存在はある。
諸天善神（しょてんぜんじん）と書いて、仏教を修行
する人を良い方向へと導いてくれる宇宙の働きのこと。

I am a Buddhist.
Maybe you don't know, but in Buddhism, there are
gods called Shoten Zenjin. In Kanji it is written as
諸天善神. It is different from the God all might of
Christianity. Shoten Zenjin is the workings of the
universe which lead the people who practice
Buddhism to a better way.


今日の３人は、諸天善神として私のところに
来てくれたのかな？私をネガティブな精神状態から
助け出すために。

Were they sent to me as Shoten Zenjin? to
help me out from the negative state of mind?



何にせよ、感謝。ありがとうございます。
それから、暖かい励ましのメッセージをくれた
何人かのお友達にも。

Whatever it is, I am thankful for them.
and for some of my friends who gave me warm
messages to encourage me.


明日は、また大学。
これから歌を目指す人を指導する。
だから、それまでに、元気になれてよかった。

I am going back to college tomorrow.
I am glad I am Genki again before I meet
young people who are now starting to walk
this long road.

A Happy Day

It was a happy day yesterday.

昨日は、楽しい日だった。


午前中、仙台からの生徒さん、１人レッスン。
彼女は、これまでの私が受け持った生徒さんの中で
驚くべきスピードで上達している。

I gave a lesson to the girl from Sendai in the morning.
She is amazing. She is improving so quickly.
I haven't had a student like her.

英語の発音も
「これはこうだよ」と言うと、その場ですぐ出来て
次からも、ちゃんと出来る。
覚えたことを忘れない。

For instance,
Her English pronunciation is not bad, but not good enough.
So I give her an example, then she gets it so quickly.
She can sing with better pronunciation next time
and she does not forget what she learnt.
Wow!


きっと、これまで素晴しい音楽を聞いて来て、
右脳が素晴しいのだと思う。それの使い方を
今、知ったのだろう。

I guess she has been listening to good music a lot
since she was little. She has an excellent right brain,
and now she is learning how to use it.

そして、一日ずつ、驚くほど、何かを誰かに届けたいと
気持ちを込めている度合いが深くなる。すごい！

to top if off, her faith in music is growing
day by day. At first she sang to sing, but now
she sings to entertain someone and encourage
someone. Great.

砂漠に咲く、たくましいサボテンが
水を吸収するように、学んでいる。
ちきしょ～～～、私もそんな風にもっとうまくなるぞ！
いえ～～い

She is learning and improving
like a cactus in the dry land absorbing water.
Oh.... I will try to improve myself like that.

レッスン終えて、一旦帰宅、シャワーして
いざ、後楽園ホールへ。
友人のキングぶ～ちゃんと待ち合わせ。

After the lesson, I went home, took a shower
and went out again to Korakuen Hall.
Met up with my mixi friend: King Boo.

今日はDeep 49 Impact

We watched Deep 49 Impact.





結構良い試合ばっかりで、楽しかった！

It was a very good event with many exciting fights.


何と言っても、この一戦につきます

The best bout last night was
the title match in middle weight division
Ryuta Sakurai vs Riki Fukuda

桜井隆多さん vs 福田力さん
の、ミドル級タイトルマッチ

川尻達也さんも熱くなって、立って応援！！

It was so exciting that even Tatsuya Kawajiri could not
remain seated. He kept shouting to his training mate
Ryuta Sakurai.

試合１Rで、二人がもつれ合って、隆多さんが場外へ。
すると、そこにあったゴングに顔面をぶつけて
少し大変なことになりました。

In the first round, Ryuta was forced to go out of the ring
and bumped his face badly against the gong.
The fight was suspended for about 3 minutes to
see if Ryuta was OK enough to restart fighting.

福田さん、防衛。
でも、二人とも、本当にすごかった。
ありがとう！ありがとう！ありがとう！

The result is....Fukuda defended his championship by TKO.
I think neither is the loser in this fight.
They were both great !!
Thank you very much.


隆多さんの容態が少し心配です。

I am worried a little about Ryuta Sakurai.


メインイベントも面白かった。
今成正和さんも、防衛。
宮下さんのことは、嫌いでもなんでもないけど
いまなーを応援しているので、良かった。
極めれなかったけど、やっぱりすごい。



The main event was good too.
Masakazu Imanari vs Tomoya Miyashita


Imanari won and defended his championship.
I did not have any bad feelings against Miyashita,
but I was rooting for Imanari. I was happy with the result.
Imanari couldn't win by submission like he used to very often,
but he showed us how strong and great at leg locks.






１０月２４日に、JCBホールで
Deepの十周年を記念するイベントがあるそうで、
なんとそこで前田吉朗さんが大塚隆史さんと闘うそうです。
タイトルマッチ！
吉朗さんを応援に行かなくちゃ！

The representative Saeki-san made an announcement
that they would hold a big event commemorating
the 10 anniversary of Deep
on October 24th at JCB Hall as Deep 50 Impact.

Yoshiro Maeda will fight against the current champ
Takafumi Otsuka. Wow!
I will go supporting Yoshiro !! yeah



吉朗さんと大塚さん以外では
菊野克紀さん、菊田早苗さん、長南亮さんも
出られるとのことです。

Other than Yoshiro and Otsuka,
Katsunori Kikuno, Sanae Kikuta and Ryo Chonan
will fight in this event.

My mixi friend Shimizu Shonen gave me
a pair of punching mitts. (do you say
punching mitt in English?)



先月、西野やすしさんがグローブをくれました

My friend Yasushi Nishino; a great blues guitarist
and also a Karate master, gave me a pair of gloves
on my birthday.



これで練習できます！

Now I can start training!


プロの選手やトレーナーを含むたくさんの友達が
やりたいなら喜んでパートナーになってあげたいと
言ってくれています。

ありがとうございます。
なんてラッキーなんでしょう。

Many of my friends including pro fighters and
trainers tell me that they would gladly
be a partner if I would like to train.

I am so happy that I put them
by my pillow every night when I go to sleep.
I hope to dream of punching someone. lol.

パンクラス

1ヶ月ぶりの格闘技観戦。

I went to Differ Ariake
to watch Pancrase today.　　

For the first time in the last
one month.


ディファ有明でパンクラスを見ました。


応援している、鹿又智成さん(写真、手前の白いシャツの方はセコンドについていたGOZOさん：この方も現役のファイターで、今月１日の試合で勝利されました！)は、対戦相手が急にかわったりしましたが、レフリーストップのTKO勝ち。


My favorite Tomonari Kanomata won by TKO.
(He is the fighter in the pic.
and the guy in a white shirt is
GOZO, who stood in the corner for Kanomata san.
GOZO san is also a pro fighter, who won at
the different event held on Aug.1st)

Kanomata san did great even though his opponent changed
about a few weeks before.


なんと！私の曲をかけてトレーニングして下さっている(^^)金井一朗さんは、判定で惜しくも負けてしまいました。

Tonight, I was also rooting for another fighter,Ichiro Kanai.
He is the former champion in the middle weight division.
He lost by decision, though he did very well in the 1st round.

He is my fan
and plays one of my songs while training.

I thought the game was drawn, but...

I expect he will win next time.



ほかにも、たくさん、いい試合が見れて、楽しかった。

There were many exciting fights other than
these two.

I enjoyed them very much.

うどんチゲ

先週、大鍋にチゲを作って
毎日少しずつ食べて
石和温泉へ行く前夜に食べきった

スープを冷凍して
今日、それにうどんを入れて
うどんチゲ作った

キムチとスパムを少し足したんだよね

見た目、よくないけど
味は超美味しかった

盛り付け、超へたくそ
でも、味は、ママ譲りか？
結構美味しく作れます


　
I made a big pot of Chige last week,
I ate a little bit of it everyday.
and I finally finish it all
the night before I headed to Isawa Onsen.
and then I froze the Chige soup.

Today I made Undon Chige using
the left-over soup, adding
some Kimchee and Spam.

It doesn't look good
but it tasted soo good.

I am terrible at coordinating
and dishing up food,
but I have a good sense in cooking,
inherited from my mother, I guess.

アップルストアにて

アップルストアにマックブック修理に出した


元々、軽いパソコンほしかったから、iPadを頼んでみたら


在庫はない、予約は出来ない、いつごろまで待てばいいかも言ってくれない。


その上、買えたらラッキー、とか、それだけ人気商品なんです、とか、恩着せがましい。

腹が立つから、やめた

待たせて申し訳ない等の言葉もない


ひたすら大名商売



ヤマダ電機で、同じぐらいの軽さのミニノートパソコン買った。

可愛いお兄ちゃん二人が、あれこれ教えてくれて、何度もお礼を言ってくれて。

アップルとは雲泥の差。

元々、iPadじゃないと絶対駄目！ってわけじゃないし、良かった。

また何年かしてiPadもバージョンアップしたら、その時欲しかったら、渋谷じゃないアップルストアで買うことにする。


いつ、買えるか何の保証もないものを、店頭に堂々と並べて、売ってやってるんだぞ！みたいな、恩着せ商法？

それだけ人気というならたくさん作ればいいじゃん

手に入りにくいみたいにして、心理的な作戦なんじゃないかな？


私みたいに何でも店員に言われる通りに買う、めっちゃいい客を、逃した、ね

と思っちゃったわ


だから、クアアイナで最高に美味しいハンバーガー食べちゃった。

今、携帯からだから、明日パソコン来たら、また書き直すね。

携帯で英語打つの、めちゃくちゃめんどくさいから。
