10月28日日曜日、干拓の里で踊る文化祭のイベントがあります。

踊りには参加しませんが、雑貨の販売に出向きます。

老若男女、いろんな団体の踊りが披露されます。

また、雑貨販売やケータリングもありますので

皆様ぜひお越しください。




On Sunday, October 28th, Dancing culture festival will be held at Kantaku no Sato.

We are not going to dance, but we will sell miscellaneous goods.

Men and women of all ages, various dances will be shown.

Plus, we sell miscellaneous goods and we will be catering,

so please come and visit Kantaku no Sato on that day.

またまた行ってきました。 We Went to Kantaku no Sato Again.

10月14日土曜日、第5回干拓の里秋のフリーマーケットの販売に参加してきました。
この日は快晴！よいお天気に恵まれ人出もとても多かったです。
今回も人気商品や新作をたくさん出品させていただきました。
On Saturday, October 14th, we attended the 5th Kantaku no Sato flea market.
It was clear sky on that day. Blessed with good weather and a lot of people came.
This time we put up many popular and new products.



人出が多かった為か、今回は人が途切れることがなくいつもこんな状況でした。
Since so many people came people never thin out, and it was always like this.





呼び込みをしていたM君、テンションMAXです。
Mr. M who lures customers was so excited.



エコクラフトやオーブン粘土などの雑貨も販売。
We sold novelty items like Eco Craft and Oven Cray.



新しく、沖縄の「サン」というお守りもエコクラフトで作ってみました。
みんな幸せになるようにと太陽工房の仲間の祈りが込められています。
We newly Eco Crafted Okinawan charm called “Sun”.
To make everyone happy it contains a wish for good health of Taiyo Koubou’s fellows.



今話題のチコちゃんもいましたが、すぐに売れてしまいました。
There was a recently talk of the town Chiko-chan, but sold out soon.



終了間際にはスカスカになった陳列棚、今回持って行った商品の85％が売れてしまいました。
Just before the end, display cabinet was almost empty, sold 85% of the products we brought in.

お客様の中には、リピーターの方もいらして楽しみにしていたと言っていただきとても嬉しく思いました。
There were repeaters, and they said we had been waiting for this time, so we felt so happy.

ギャロット夫人 Ms. Garrott

10月10日水曜日に、いつも市民ギャラリー展示会に来て下さる、ギャロット夫人が太陽工房に来られました。
ギャロットさんは御夫婦で教会を開かれており、すでに34年も経つそうです。
開拓教会ですから、慣れない日本に来て、これまで継続してこられた御苦労は大変だったと思います。
教会のホームページを見ると、神様の導きと仲間の方たちのお支えによって活動してこられた様子がよくわかります。
そんなギャロット夫人は日本コケイン症候群ネットワークのコーディネーターもされています。

コケイン症候群とは
（コケイン症候群＝CSと称します。）
100万人に2人と言われる希少な早発老化症で常染色体劣性形式で遺伝する病気です。
研究で遺伝子損傷を修復する仕組みや症状の違いなど不明なことが多くあります。
根本的な治療方法もなくその時々に対処療法が行なわれています。
個人差がありますがコケイン症候群特有の症状が顕著になると共に老化症状が現れ、徐々に重篤な状態になります。

私たちもこの病気に関してはあまり知りませんでしたが、ギャロット夫人を通じて学ばせて頂くことができました。

On Wednesday, October 10, Ms. Garrott who comes to Omura Citizens Gallery often, visited Taiyo Koubou.
Ms. Garrott runs a church with her husband for 34 years.
Since it's pioneer church, came to unaccustomed country, it must be tough to keep enlightening.
Look at the web page of the church, you can see they have been acting with guidance of God and the support of fellows.
Ms. Garrott is a coordinator of Japan Cockayne Syndrome network.

What is Cockayne Syndrome?
(Cockayne Syndrome = CS)
Present symptoms of it one in a million people, it's rare premature aging disease that heredities autosomal recessive form.
By fundamental research, can't solve the structure of genetic damages or symptoms.
It depends on individuals but as cockayne syndrome has been present heavily as aging symptom gets worse and worse.

We didn't know much about this disease, but Ms. Garrott taught us kindly.
The purpose and joining method of the group is down below, so if you are interested please check it out.

-Purpose-
○The patient, family, health care workers, researchers, supporters cooperate and aim for cause elucidation, and establishment of treatment.
○Aim for improving the patient's QOL, and promote relationship exchanging information.
○Plan and support on the family who lost their child.

○Meeting, studying, having educatioinal activities.
○Exchange information on the web page.

日々・２ Daily Part 2

前回の続きです。

少し昔の話をしましょう。「臆せず、今を生きる。」過去を生きるわたしにはとても難しく感じます。
「変わりたくない」と周りを否定したあの日がとても懐かしい。けれど確かにわたしは今を生きないといけない…。
変わったのは周りか自分か。問答しているうちに日々は過ぎてゆきます。
過去はゆらゆらと手招いているから立ち止まるたびに引きずられてしまうのですよね。
太陽工房でたくさんの学び、上司に「自分を見つめ直しなさい」と言われてそれでもなお、
わたしは見つめることすらせず遠い過去を探っていました。今があるから過去があると言い聞かせても、
残念なことに過去があるから今があると一蹴する心があるのです。

そんな日々でも嬉しいことは山のようにあります。それは過去であり今であり未来でもある。
それに気づくのに随分時間がかかってしまったけれど、確かに信じていたいと思います。
すべてはつながているから。時間はかかったけれど、無駄は何ひとつなかったと信じたいです。

気づいた刹那の痛みは、鮮烈にわたしを変えました。
どうしちゃったんだよと笑って、明日からも仕事が楽しくできますように。

秋の夜長に夜ふかししながら米津玄師さんの『春雷』に心を馳せている、はるかでした。

ああ、日付が変わってしまう…。早く寝ないといけません。

This article is continued from the last article.

Let me talk about passed days. “Not afraid, and live now” it sounds difficult for me who live in the past.
It reminds me the old days that I deny surroundings that “I don’t want to change.”
However, I shall live right now… Which of me or surroundings changed?
While asking that question the time passes. The past is welcoming me so if I stop I’m going to be drawn.
I learned a lot at Taiyo Koubou, my boss told me to “watch over yourself,”
but I didn’t do it and looking the far past. Because I exist now so the past does too,
but unfortunately I refuse it and think because of the past I live right now.

In those days, there are a lot of fun things. It is the past, now, and the future.
It took me to realize that, but I surely want to believe. Everything is connected.
It took so long, but I want to believe there weren’t any waste.

The pain of time that I realized, it changed me totally.
Laugh what the hell has happened, and from tomorrow I want to work joyfully.

It is Haruka who is reading Kenshi Yonedzu’s “Shun Rai” with joy, at long autumn nights.

Aw, the tomorrow comes soon… I have to sleep early.
